well as most ppl said either just get on the roof they are on or switch kits to take them out, forget who said it but most ppl are just to lazy to change kits to get rid of them

its only bad on maps like berlin as buildings are high, Camp g isn't to bad

i think they should just reduce the distance you can go, i agree that going across that map isn't good but like 5-10 ft isn't bad

I've already agreed to the fact that it's a "legit"/"legal" exploit. I never said "Don't do it!", i've done nothing but express my opinion and that it's essentially an exploit.

The rooftop camping doesn't bother me as long as we have other bases and my team isn't solely concentrating on the few guys up on the roof the whole round. If we've only got one base, though, and every time I spawn I get killed, then I start to loathe it... but then I'd just leave the server and go look for another game. Better then being stuck on a base getting spawn camped.

On the other side of things, if I'm on the team that's doing it, I also start to loathe it, because usually they'll be sitting up there doing nothing but staying on the roof and killing people, while I'm on the ground trying to take bases with no support whatsoever.
I guess to have fun, I should do it with them. But I just don't find staying in one place the whole round, killing the same guys over and over again particularly fun. I'd rather attack and defend bases then camp, really. The rooftop thing just gets so boring.

IMO, roof camping is a legal exploit. However, I find it lame and boring. Yes, I've done it and don't think it is fun. In my head, if you're hiding on the roof to pick me off instead of facing me like a man you've just proven yourself to be a coward and punk.

If I have to keep chasing the enemy down from the rooftops, I'll find a different server to play on. Why? Because all of this up-n-down nonsense breaks the flow of a good round. I'm tired of wasting my time scaring the pansies off the roofs.

Yeah I'm starting to agree on this as I just spent 10 minutes nading the roof campers on the building that surrounds the main on Gibby. After killing 15 people I finally blew up the beacon. This was quickly replaced by one on central camp and later another back on the main . The occasional roof camper on something like Fall of Berlin doesn't annoy me, but this is ridiculous.

I know it's probably been said before, but If people are on the rooftops then the can't be on the ground capping flags. If they want to spend the entire round on the roof it's fine by me, me and the rest of the team will just go cap flags and win the round. I personally don't go on the rooftops but it's still possible to legally get up there without moving your spawn beacon, it all depends on the location of the beacon.

Still some are missing the big detail about rooftop engineers denying the pass or even the existence of vehicles in certain maps.

About fearing an orbital strike, I can avoid it easily thanks to 5.1 headphones and a supply crate can heal the small wounds and provide ammo to continue.

Worse yet if during a rape....
