Hurting the team would be hopping into a heli with someone who can't produce tickets. One teamkill in order to eliminate 20, 30, perhaps even more tickets sounds a lot better in my opinion: what do you think? The ratio is mathematically sound... now we just need to see if you can live with the decision.

I suppose this is rather akin to the philosophical problem involving train tracks and possibly deviating it onto one person's path to save more people on the other one. The difference in this case is, we're definitely substituting a negative for a positive: there's no guesswork involved, because the soloer will be a considerable asset, as opposed to the impotent duo wasting time and tickets.

It's totally irrelevant who is right. Everybody has equal chances to get to the chopper and there is not a single thing you can do about it except b!tch on this forums. So why don't all of you stop acting like fools and beating the dead horse for weeks.

No teamkill is ever acceptable. Period.

Know what I do to people who TK for vehicles? They get a big permanent ban and a nasty send off. An intentional TK, especially for a vehicle, is never justified.

Pretty much same here. It's always fun to go C4 whoring and blow up tanks with people inside. Why not rather do that instead of actually being inside one of those tanks?

Pre Grenade launcher nerf my specialty used to be shooting spawn raping heli's with the GL :)

It's amazing how many kills you could get like that. The heli's never bothered to look out for you, 'cos it's only a GL :)

Vast majority of my time in BF2 has been spent to air aspect and I wouldnt trade it for the ****-fest infantry fight it has become now, for a second. If I wanted to fight on land, I would play SWAT4, which I did (and do) along with flying.

Its unbelievably fun to be in the air, the pure 1 vs 1 competitive nature of a dogfight is something that is uparalleled on the land, nothing comes close to that in BF2.

Because games like Falcon or other such deidcated flying games are just not your cup of tea?

Infantry combat would be so much better in BF2 if it wasnt for those f*ked up hitboxes and weapon inacuraccy. Seriously i saw a friend of mine getting shot 20-30 times from a M249 SAW from maybe 20 meters away and he didnt die. He was laughing his *** off over VT coz he couldnt see who was shooting at him because of the big white dust cloud coming out of his head.

I notice that i hit ppl and they dont loose any hp all the time now. When im playing with a friend and hes on the other team and he kills me, i sometimes shoot him in the head and he still doesnt die. He sees the dust but takes no damage. That also use to happend to me. Sometime i see some dust coming out of my head after getting hit but take no damage.

And today i was shooting at a guy with M249 SAW from maybe 10 meters away and somehow he got away after i hit him 4-5 times. Its so messed up when bullets come out of the gun in a 45 degree angle when im prone. /rant off

Try to live in the real world for one second and understand the rationale behind these actions, instead of living in a black and white fantasyland where everything is clear-cut.

                            Here's a scenario for you:

One of your soldiers is "holding" a flag and you notice a rather large group of infantry moving to capture. You can get the jump on them in a way that artillery will strike when they're about to capture: the only problem is, your soldier will bite the dust. Is this acceptable to you? If not, I suggest you stay away from positions of leadership, as your lack of decisiveness will end up getting a lot more than one person killed... most likely including yourself.

You can say we're just discussing a game, but the philosophy behind these actions runs deep, and you've shown you're still in the shallow end of the pool.

                              QFE!

The bullets should not be able to land where it is physically impossible given the position of the muzzle.

                                Absolutely.

Believe it or not, I'd be more than happy to fight infy style, if only the cone system didn't exist. CS style, I'm ALL THERE... but this garbage they're trying to pass off as functional turns me off so much that I'd rather not be playing if there's no airmap available.
