Your argument is like saying that unless someone has been an NFL quarterback they can't have an opinion on plays and how to read a defense.
I have quite a few hours in the chopper on the demo and LAN parties. I agree that soloing is sometimes better for the team, but saying that you can't have an informed opinon on an issue because your e-stats don't back it up is ridiculous.
Do you have an opinion on foreign policy? The war in Iraq? The head of state for your country? Have you ever been a Prime Minister or President?
If I were to put all of the facts about this issue in front of someone who has never played BF2, some will say that the soloer is wrong and some will say that he's doing the right thing.
I say, anyone who teamkills or redlines people to solo is no better than the kid who was held back a grade pushing kids off the jungle gym because they aren't climbing quickly enough. And based on a lot of the things you guys type, you may really have been those kids.

Now that puts things in perspective, doesn't it? Very interesting data.

You see, everybody will an opinion on these issues, but they only matter when they are discussing with people with same experience level on that particular matter.

For example, you have an opinion on the War in Iraq. That's fine. But is your opinion more relevant than one from a defense analyst? Or more relevant than the Secretary of Defense's (or whoever)?

jimtool655321, he's not saying you can't have an opinion on anything in particular based on limited experience and/or knowledge, but that it won't be as valuable or credible.

The truth is, when you want an educated, knowledgeable and credible opinion on a mathematical topic, you ask a mathematician. Biology? A biologist. Medicine? A medical practitioner.

Laymen are allowed to have opinions, however erroneous they may be: we're not arguing that. But the idea that your opinion is as valid despite considerably less experience and skill, however, is ludicrous.

Most people are simply not in a position to make an informed and educated comment on the subject. It's not an opinion, it's a fact...

By the way, Churra... any news on our ramtastic video?

And I thought I had a high TK and kick rate because of my "shoot first, ask later policy"... Seems like somebody here treats teammates even worse and get booted even more often... Tsk tsk. :shakehead:
I almost spilled my drink, nice stats. Its all coming down to the fact that people who dont know what they are talking about, run their mouthes off. I love it, this case here is so close to those catholic male priests and their anti-homosexual views...

                    Your analogies are crap.

Does it not mean that people can change their point of view about how they play? Surely it takes some time to swing percentages.

Oh but people can change their point of views about how they play, I did the same, if people are taking pride in their current actions knowing that their history is as rotten as hell itsself, they are technically hypocrites. And as such, the analogy is spot on. If you dont practice what you preach, you are full of BS.

If you had a brain you would be dangerous.

If their history is full of TK's etc... and they are continuing to be a non-team player, but they are posting on here that they play for teamwork, then they would be hypocrites.

Perhaps you should have Googled the word first, maybe?

If there are no competent gunners on the team then yes solo. Its those soloers that never give anyone a chance and redline you that are the non teamplayers. Besides a competent 2 man heli crew is much more effective on the battlefield as they can do everything a soloer can and more.

Just for comparison, let's see here:

% Time playing as Lone Wolf:

                              Churrasco: 14.94%

                              Waaah_wah: 50.02%

Like i told Chris: When i join a server, i'll join a squad. If no one in that squad are using VOIP or if they are not cooperating at all, ill leave. Then i do that with the next squad. If i cant find a good squad (wich i normally cant in BF2) i'll leave and play as lonewolf. Also, When i fly im usually a medic. When i fly a F35 im often a sniper coz if i bail (and i will if i see missiles coming at me and i dont have flares), i can still have some fun sniping on the ground. Also, Waaah_wah is not my only account.

                              Team Kill per Kill:

                              Churrasco: 0.038
                              Sloi: 0.031
                              Waaah_wah: 0.062

Wake, IO servers, ppl who force TK. Ring any bells?

And sure, if someone TKes me on purpose, i'll TK him every time i see him.

                              Kicks per play hour:

                              Churrasco: 0.2597
                              Sloi: 0.2920
                              Waaah_wah: 0.3731

WTF does that have to do with anythnig?

Lack of arguments or just excuses? Im sure the acceptable accidental teamkilling rate is happening to each and everyone of us. Waah_wah is preaching as hes the ultimate know how in what is and whats not teamwork, his stats reveal not only that hes a teamkiller on purpose, but that hes an average player by teamworks standards, and a less than average player in terms of efficiency, while being far less than acceptable as a pilot.

Also, none of the current soloers have taken pride in redlining, nor have they taught anyone how to play their game, they have simply taken the stand in defending their style of play, which by the way, youre doing a terrible job at going against. You use a very vague term like "non teamworker" while you have no idea what that even means. Youve been proven factually wrong and you still cant let go.
