Re: Helicopter pilots are under-appreciated
Holy crap! Haha. Chopper wh0res mention me! :PRead the "Aviatorguides" by; debonairXL, zenmaster and Chris_Redfield.
I find this thread to be extremely entertaining. Especially considering that weve got seasoned, battle hardened vets on one side talking experience and how things are, and on the other hand weve got seasoned and battlehardened Karkand kids who talk how they think things ought to be.
Keep it up, Im entertained.Comment

Re: Helicopter pilots are under-appreciated
The title of this thread should be, "What in BF2 is more appreciated than a good Helo Pilot?"
There is NOTHING I appreciate more than a good helo pilot. I have been lucky enough to fly with some pilots I consider to be some of the best there is. I made it my personal goal to be a gunner that they in turn, could appreciate. My motivation for EVERYTHING I have ever accomplished as a gunner, has been not for me, but due to the appreciation I have for a good pilot. I want these guys to be as happy to fly with me, as I am with them. Nothing I have ever done as a gunner, would have happened without them. What could be more selfless than a good helo pilot? I want every good helo pilot to know, if I ever fly with you, I will give you all of my ability, to do the best job I possibly can, because of one reason ...there is NOTHING I appreciate more than a good helo pilot.
I could actually bend-over for a good helo pilot ...omg, did that sound gay?Comment

Re: Helicopter pilots are under-appreciated
well people cant always tell who the pilot is since the gunner gets over 80% of the kills.Comment

Re: Helicopter pilots are under-appreciated
If you appreciate them, that's all that matters.
Just do your job. Doesn't matter what anyone has to say or doesn't has to say, as long as you know you did what you were supposed to do.
:)
Edit - I've never had anyone thank me for a good round. Even after I just line them up and let them kill everything in sight. There's been a few, 'Nice Flying' comments but never a thank you.
You're right.Comment

Re: Helicopter pilots are under-appreciated
I don't get why helicopters are praised but snipers are hated. The only tks snipers get is from accidental claymores, but a chopper pilot wouldn't hesitate to blow your brains out just to get into the cockpit. Neither snipers or choppers function any good in squads, but snipers can at least cap a flag.Comment
