Once I got into the Medic unlocks I played the L85 for a while, then switched to the E. The M16 is total crap compared to either of those guns in my opinion. I haven't ever used the AK because I thought it must suck like it does on all other games.

Anyway, L85 if i feel like semi-sniping and not doing much healing. BTW- it is very accurate for me at longer ranges and I love to make a "BOOM" head-shot on a sniper when I'm a medic. :) Note:I play 1600X1200 rez. so maybe that makes a difference with more pixels to work with.(Not sure though)

G36E, close-medium range in the battle no desire to die first situations.

I have really switched to the so-called "noob" gun because I am healing a lot more than I used to.

Just look at it this way. You(G36E) vs. Him(L85) 10-15 meters. Double burst to chest he dies. You have been hit only once or twice, one bar of health is better than none= You win!

I really used to hate it and at the time regret getting it as an unlock. But after more then a year playing, I finally found out how nice it really is, after playing EF.

It is a real love hate weapon for me, One day it works perfectly i nail all the guys in the head when i aim for it so forth, next day its all over the place, it is almost as if the bullets go around the guy. All in all i would give the l85 a Solid 7 out of 10. (maybe 6.5 for the days it sucks ***, you know just to even it out)

Wow its funny how some people thinks it's really accurate and some people think it isn't. Personally I think it sucks.

I agree in how you notice many people thinging soo awsome and many people thinking its soo bad ive never seen people on such extremely opposite side of an argument when they are all using the same gun, how all these diffrent opinions came from the same weapon ill never know but i think its a good weapon unless you have special forces then take the g36c.

I think you unlock it with special forces right? i dont know because i dont have spec forces but i have picked up the g36c and its a Great weapon close-medium range better than l85 (which is only effective medium-long because its bullets go ALL OVER in close close range, the time when full auto is what you want) however l85 is a good gun.

The g36c however which i just unlock PWNS the l85 and the g36c in close range long range and medium range, ever since i unlocked it (after i started this thread however i still use l85 whenever i play medic) my scores has boosted to an average off 35-50 points a game rather than 15-25(back in my noob days) i can use the g36c in burst at long range and get TWO of the bullets to hit isnt that AWSOME g36c pwns end of stroy however takecover more often you dont have heavy armor like assaults.

I prefer the G36E for it's triple burst shots and it's fairly quiet. The L8 is great for sniping, but I find that other times, it's more random than any of the other medic guns.

One thing I wonder is if there is a "bug" with the gun. When I am killed by one, it seems like I don't know I am losing health/hearing the gun until I am already dead. It would be similar to dying from a tank blast, but never hearing the shot?

i don't like L8 because it tends to NOT be very accurate unless i use single shot.

it is not the best gun but if you learn how to use it it dam good have you tryed doing 2 shot bursts tap tap, tap tap, tap tap, it works for me then when your near the end of the clip let rip on auto 50/50 your finnis the enermy off

Its soo acurate and its impossible to to totally own with it when u have a buddy or 2 nearby.

The bane of my existence are the accursed medic weapons - l85a1 and g36e. Everytime I look up to see what killed me are these hyper-accurate medic weapons.

Medics are the new assault class.

it is a good gun, nice change when i pick one up, but id take an M16 or AK given the choice :)

if you can correct for the crap sights with the L85 your pretty much unbeatable

They wouldn't be if everyone who plays assault would figure out their guns shoot bullets and not just nades.

Ak> L8 close and med range, L8>AK long range.

M16>G36e close med and long range due to the fact that E loses power over distance.

SVD>all other guns. :)

Eh, I love the L85. It is the most accurate gun I have used, after the PKM. I also don't see the reason why people have to use single shot with it...I just run up to the OPFOR and let loose a round of (automatic) fire in his face.
