it truly is a great gun. ive been playing AT and support alot recently, but when i do play as medic on the US i use the L85. as good as it is, in most situations id take an AK over it if given the choice.

I like to use it for a change, but if I'm medic class I'll choose the AK101/47 or M16A2. When I'm not doing too good I'll get the G36E out as I seem to "pawn" allw with that weapon. Reason I don't use it all the time then? More fun with the AK!

don't like the L85A1. Sounds crap, underpowered and not accurate in bursts.
Prefer the AK if going medic or the G36E (by the way before people start saying noob for using the G36E, EA set the accuracy level and power and TBH if you flame others because it owns people and too easy to get high KDR's with it then who's the noob?)
That's like going on a server and not using the tank because it kills people too easy.

To be honest L85A1 is total piece of crap. No matter how you use it, its accuracy totally depends on the phase of the moon, day of the week and color of your socks.

If you take G36E (and actually almost any other weapon), you basically shoot straight to the point where you aim (well more or less), if you hit or don't it's totally up to you. With L85A1 I will not be supprised if I drop a helicopter above me while trying to shoot some fellow laying in the grass few meters in front of me :p

It's almost handy in close combat because of it fast spray speed, but because its uneffective without a headshot AK and other full auto pieces will beat it.

First, it sounds like an automated squirrel fart. Weak, unintimidating and doesnt make you feel confident.

Secondly, it constantly fels as if it doesnt have a barrel and the bullets start spreading as soon as they leave the gun. Its probably the only gun in the game where you can actually feel the random cone of fire. In real life terms, the gun feels like its barrel is only an inch long.

I would take the AK101 over it any day. And if I know theres going to be lots of "face to face" action involved, I would choose my Remington.

The L85A1 is alright, but it's actually worse than all other Medic weapons.

I like the G36E, but I find using unlocks, especially that one, a bit lame. So I try to use the AK's and M16's a bit more.

It's accurate as hell for me but it's just underpowered.

I play assault constantly so I don't use it much. If I ever feel like whoring medic... it does a good job of protecting me... I'll give it that.

Just not powerful enough... I hate shooting someone and watching them walk off like they got hit by a bebe gun.
