Just not powerful enough... I hate shooting someone and watching them walk off like they got hit by a bebe gun.

That's nearly all the guns except for the PKM, G3 and of course the shotguns :laugh:

It's accurate as hell for me but it's just underpowered.

I play assault constantly so I don't use it much. If I ever feel like whoring medic... it does a good job of protecting me... I'll give it that.

If it was more powerful all u l85 haters would scream OMG WAAAY OVERPOWERED.
its not a magic fully automatic sniper rifle.

I dont know about you guys, i own with it beacuse im a goodshot, chest and up I keep it one single but change to full auto whe i go into a smaller space.
and you guys seem to forget these medic/assualt rifles dont have SUPER long range but the l85 with good accuracy has better range than the others alot of you only judge based on power rather than accuracy.

I like how it's a 1shot kill almost all the time and you don't really have to be a good shot with it, 3 shot burst at a distance will cause serious problems for even armored infantry.

l96 is the sniper rifle, l85 is the medic assault rifle.

I have been using the base weapons mostly lately, and have Greatly enjoyed the M-16 and the AK's. I used to whore the L85 when I was a "psuedo-sniper", when I only played on Wake Island, it rocked.

I have had great success with the L85. AK is best for CQB, L85 is great for medium to large open maps. The scope is what seals the deal for me.

I used to hate using the L85, that of course was back in the day, when I thought it sucked because of my crap aiming.

But to tell you the truth the sound really bothers me. If not for that I would give it a 10 in my book.

I can kill a full-health armored soldier in semi with the L85, no problem.

To put it simply it's the best all rounder in the game!

Its versatile, manivarable, lightweight, accurate, powerful, has great ratesof fire and does the job perfectly.
