Re: Patch 1.3 rumour discussion!
LOL so you don't even know how to squadhop effectively??
Squadhopping with 32 players is no problem!
Player 1 opens up a squad.
Player 2 joins, spawns, leaves.
Player 3 joins, spawns, leaves.
Player 4 joins, spawns, leaves.
Player 5 joins, spawns, leaves.
....
Player 32 joins, spawns, leaves.
Voila, all 32 players are in the same place now (no matter where you have been before, just use the suicide-teleporter). You need to coordinate it in a way so that not more than 6 people spawn at the same second, but for a clan that's a piece of cake to organize.
OK, most of the time clans only do this with 8 or 12 people...
Most clans don't like to play with more than 12 players, as the "squadhopping gameplay" doesn't scale well to a larger numbers of players, because the squad system is not used as a tool to make organisation easier (chain of command etc) but instead as a cheap teleportation tool.
When splitting your team into groups (called squads) then you could manage the war by the "divide and conquer" principle, but most clanners insist that ALL the people sit around in the same TeamSpeak channel, so you will always hear if someone yells "Spawn at me!!! I managed to sneak through!!"

But he also says "it stayed as a feature" in that posting.... which leaves some room for interpretation.
Well OK but I know developers, they ALWAYS try to sell bugs as features

It was never intended to let people join and leave a squad simply to spawn.

( just called a second aspect: less spawnraping)
