Valve Cancels Steam Dev Days After Just One Year
Last year was the first and perhaps only go around for Steam Dev Days. The developer conference took place last year and brought in around 1,200 developers from around the world to talk about game development with other devs. This year? Nothing.
Valve has officially scrapped the event for 2015, opting instead to have a larger presence at GDC 2015. When asked about the event, a Valve representative issued the following statement.

Valve May Not Be the Best Place to Work At - Former Employees Make Their Voices Heard
Rich Geldreich parted ways from Valve back in June of 2013. He was one of the forces driving the future of OpenGL and Steam Linux at Valve before he said his goodbyes.
