Sega has released a new trailer today for the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. This new trailer gives us all a look at what to expect when the game ships out on November 5 for the Nintendo Switch, or November 8 for those of you in Europe.

Sega announced today that in addition to the real-world sporting events included with Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, there will be three fantasy events included as a bonus. These are also in addition to the 10 "2D" stylized events that are also included with the traditional events.

When Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is released, an entire dimension may also disappear. Sega just revealed that there are some exciting 2D events to play in addition to the expected 3D events included in the game.

There are actually ten different events that you can play in 2D complete with the old-school Mario and Sonic sprites that fans will undoubtedly remember fondly.
