Nearly 60 employees have been let go.

Crytek announces that they have laid off around 15% of its entire workforce. This means that roughly 60 developers are now out of a job.

Crytek and acclaimed singer Post Malone have teamed up, as previously announced, for Post Malone's Murder Circus in Hunt: Showdown 1896. This event should be live from today, December 12th, through to February 10, 2025 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Crytek and Fun World partnered up to add in a classic Halloween treat for Hunt: Showdown 1896. Ghostface (or Ghost Face), the iconic killer from the Scream film franchise, will be added to Hunt as paid DLC on October 24 for $9.99. Ghostface is part of the $9.99 "Ghost Face Rampage" DLC and it will include one Hunter (Ghostface), two weapons, and a tool.

The Harvest of Ghosts event comes with a new game mode.

Crytek just updated Hunt: Showdown 1896 with a little Halloween fun. The "Harvest of Ghosts" event comes is available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from now through to November 25.

This event also comes alongside a new game mode, Bounty Clash, that will be available from now through to October 20th. After the 20th, Bounty Clash will be available every weekend during the rest of the Harvest...
