Through what I can only assume is magic, the latest update for Forza Motorsport reduces the install size by up to 29GB. Specifically, the release of Update 7 reduces the total file size by 25GB on Xbox Series X|S and by 29GB on PC. This is a size reduction on about 15-20% depending on which platform you play on.

Developer Turn 10 says that due to the nature of this new optimization, today's Update 7 will be "slightly larger"...

Makes sense when you figure the last Forza Motorsport only came out on the Xbox One.

During their Developer Direct, Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios showed off a fresh look at the upcoming Forza Motorsport. This Xbox Series X|S and PC game promises to "deliver a generational leap in fidelity, immersion, and realism."

Forza Motorsport for the Xbox Series X made its worldwide debut today during the Xbox Games Showcase. Microsoft says that this game, like the other titles showcased, will be available to play day 1 with Xbox Game Pass.

At present, it does not seem clear whether or not this is going to be entitled Forza Motorsport or if it will be Forza Motorsport 8. ...
