I don't think its completely outragous that video games are being blamed or counter strike getting some of the blame either.



1st off I wanna say that you have to be messed up in the head to do this in the first place. But video games and video game violence gives these sickos ideas to exhert their psychopathic problems. When i first heard about this, I thought to myself, he probably played counter-strike. I personally get a kick out of sniping in any game and I bet most of you guys do too (unfortunately i suck with the awp). Its not a sicko kick but i think its pretty dang cool to get snipe kills.



Anyway Im just saying games don't cause this stuff but it does give twisted people ideas.

If you ask me, i think cs helps keep most of us SANE. I for one, after a hard day at school, enjoy coming home and cappin some heads in cs. I bet the sniper never played cs, or even knows wat cs is. If he did, i doubt he would be this derranged.

Although cs is a very very VERY small factor in someone reasoning for killing someone, it is part of the problem.. Every problem has multiple reasons and actions... You can't completely rule out games in general...

What will be depressing is when there is a news report about a man dressed in shades, a green shirt and khaki pants, jumping around irratically, screaming out enemy spotted every 5 seconds, switching between his silver, 0.5 calibre pistol and his green, .338 calibre sniper rifle, firing off shots like a mad man and killing dozens of people before being taken out by policemen and having his last words being 'fkin netcode.. 28-1 gg...' I'll be extremely saddened when that happens

Every generation[well, maybe not every generation, but a lot of them lately] have had a major change happen to them, for us, it's the information revolution, and every generation preceeding the current one blamed the problems on the current generations major change, mainly due to the fact that it was strange and they didn't understand it. Our games are being blamed now, but once they become mainstream among the majority of age brackets they'll be out of the line of fire and something new will step in. I'm not sure what that something could possibly be, but one of us will figure it out and make it, then more of us will not like it and blame problems on it, that's just the way it goes.

Some people have used the excuse the devil made me do it , when there wasnt any Videogames , Movies , Rap songs etc.. etc.. so if we took or banned/outlawed/censored current media we would be back to square one on the excuse charts with - The devil made me do it.



And how boring would that be to have only but the devil himself to blame for our woes. We are far to advanced a civilization to just place blame onto the arch angel of death. We must blame other things in place of good ol' el Diablo.



So I say we go ahead and let them blame games movies rap music drugs alchohol at least its better then saying the devil made me do it.

Games are not made with the intention of people using it as motives to kill people no , they are made for the means of making money from people who will use them to simulate the feeling of killing others. Whether or not you want to believe it or not we are products of our enviroment. If my enviroment consists of Counter-strike all day long I will begin to seperate myself from reality and believe I really can snipe people with an awp at gas stations , schools , grocery stores ..etc.. etc... without any reprecutions. Videogames dont kill people people kill people I agree. But damn What a great place to desensitize from the moralistic feelings society places on the taboo of murder. If a game makes you feel like a Uber-soldat I'm all for it! Kill me! kill everyone ! kill yourself ! KILL ! KILL! KILL !

ok number 1, the US spends millions of dollars each year employing those scientists to take vacations so they dont go off by themselves. plus, anyone who watches their history channel will see that those labs, while dilpidated, are being maintained and under the supervision of us scientists

Ok, stuff like this just pisses me off. Games don't make people shoot people. It's called being crazy, mentally ill, maybe even the parents fault for traumitizing the kid so he became crazy. Hell, my dad plays CS. He knows this is bs.

Also this sucks that it is in my county and neighboring places because you never know when something might happen to a loved one.
