According to the latest Konami financials, it seems as though the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes has outsold the Xbox One version by a factor of 3 to 1. According to Konami's last quarterly results, ending June 30, the PS4 version accounted for 12% of Konami's total number of PC and console games sold. The Xbox One accounted for just 4%.
The quarter previous to this latest one saw the PS4 version of the game with an 8% share of the total games sold for Konami, with the Xbox One version sitting at 3%.
The sales of the game pushed revenues for Konami up 6.6% and net income up 45.6%. Konami's pachinko business saw gains of 400% in revenues for the company (seriously). There has been no word on the sales figures for Ground Zeroes on the previous generation of consoles.
