While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.

The idea is gay, i can't even believe they are still using the crappy, unifished bf2 engine! I just can't see how they are going to make a game using the same engine.
I voted no. This is crap and not what we want (EA's policy is to give gamers what they least want). There are plenty of other good sci-fi games and this won't be better.
I bet there will be just as many bugs as bf2. It is being rushed out.

Basically, if there gonna use the BF2 engine, it's just like a damn MOD. Or a screwed up x-pack, but instead of giving it for free (mods) or having u pay 30 bucks (xpacks), they make u pay a damn 50 bucks, wow, they're trying to screw us arn't they, well, lt's screw them first.

EA makes products, not games. One of the most important rules of making products that sell? Keep them fresh. Another important rule? Attract new customers. And I don't see how this "future crap" is in any way cheesy. If anything, making a modern war FPS game, such as BF2, is cheesy because that is at least on third of the pc game market.
I'm all for 2142, but it does seem a little too soon.

I am not really a big fan of all kind of sci-fi stuff... but I like this idea, it's different, I am getting really tired of Bf2.... I can barely play it for an hour now without getting so sickenly bored of it...I really really doubt this game will come out in fall this year... and like someone said in a different topic... shouldnt this be more like 2042? Actually... wait... 36 years is too soon... wait I dunno I don't know what area 51 has been up to lately :)...
Anyways I am looking forward to the new Battlefield ...

Believe it or not, this is the mid-sized version. FNH is working on a larger 80 mm variant. That a shoulder launcher on par with tank cannons! Yikes!

Still, shop made. This one is technically a plama gun since the projectial is super heated by the discharge. It's much better at making holes in things.

This is perty amazing... from his Bearsuit (which proved that you can save the human body from almost any physical trama) to his armour bags that look like seatcusions, but can repel a direct hit from an RPG, he's definatly pushing the way towards some interesting future tech.
When it comes to futuristic, stop thinking "Startrek" and start thinking about the fact that we're living in a world that would seem like sci-fi to anyone even 30 years ago. It's only going to develop faster.

I wonder if the people from DICE/EA have looked at this poll?
It'd be interesting to know what they thought of the fact that nearly 60% of participants who are regular and devoted players think the concept of 2142 sucks.
Like, 10% or 20% would have been ok, but surely this amount must be ringing alarm bells for them.
