No- BF2 appeals to me ( a retired military officer) because it's tied to real weapons and real scenarios. Larger fields with hundreds of players would be nice whenever processor and bandwidth can support it. That would add a whole new dimension to the game as would campaigns. I'm suprised the game companies don't adopt the Porsche mentality of upgrading while keeping the basic philosophy intact- more players (picture a 300 player battle), more weapons, more platforms (ships to ship combat!), incremental engine upgrades, campaigns. Those would be things that KEPT me hooked.
