im an above average pilot i like to think, but no pro

it is naff how the techniques that used to work (getting really clsoe to someones engine running with the bombsite, then letting all hell break loose with the stingers) dont work anymore. in a way i like this becasue close quarters jet fighting has become a proper gun dogfight.

it is lame how any pilot can shoot missiles form miles away and kill skilled pilots and there is nothing they can do about it because they have already dropped their flares from flying over an aa with lock to avoid certain death. the hard learned techniques i used to use no longer seem to work, yet everyone elses missiles (include lance corporal whatever) never seem to miss me. that is the problem. they shouldnt have swept the rug out from under the veteran pilots feet

the only people who are going to stop flying are the noobs that get in the jets and go try to find someone to ram. all the people who like to fly still do, they dont care if its harder that just means its that much more fun to bomb the crap out of little whinners like you, mr benis.

I hate planes with a passion (you own the sky! leave the ground alone!) I think that the AA is better now (not including the glitch where AA decides to take digital drugs and go on a little TK trip), and that the pilots should just deal. I put up with your planes/bombs/missles/etc, etc, so you should put up with my AA.

I have agreed with PW on many issues, never agreed with his attitude, but what keeps me from slandering hsi attitude is the pure fact that he hasnt been patronizing, and he never had the elitist posts that would put people personally down. He doesnt say "you suck, n00b", he just says "Im the best" generally and neutrally. Sure itd be great to get up there, shoot him down and come back with a few screens, but until you havent done that, dont slander anyone.
The main point is- I dont agree with HIM. I disagree with YOU. Draw your own conclusions from here, and try to be a little bit (a lot) more intelligent and process through what you write.

Errr Chris what on earth are you on about. I think his arguments are flawed, I reply to him as he generally replies to everyone else. He's better than me at flying a plane so I best not say anything then, is that what you want.

I don't state an opinion along the lines I think this because I'm the greatest rather I think this because of this and then that, etc.

Honestly Chris the better you are at a game does not make your opinion more valid, what makes your opinion more or less valid is the argument you present, if you disagree with my points fine.

Half the time I think Planewhore posts to get a reaction, but in fairness he does well in getting that reaction!

Shooting someone down doesn't give anyone the right to do anything, I really don't know where you are coming from on that, it's a game, chill out.

Let me simplify this for you. We are NOT plane whores. We are pilots. Most of us came from good ole' DC and were the people you always looked at and said, "Man, I wish I could fly like that." Now that its BF2, everyone calls us whores and looks down on us, but do we stop flying? Heck no. Its what you want to do, fly. Yea, most still prefer the DC physics, but everyone plays BF2 now. Therefore we are to good for people and told we "have no skill".

Yes we do have skill, skills from the games past that no one anymore understands.

However I can supply you my SAT score (1500 out of 1600, 800 math and 700 verbal, with my English score higher than 95% of college bound juniors nation-wide), as well as my 4.00 core-science college GPA (yes, that includes organic chemistry), all with photographic proof.

I guess I don't have to ego-**** like you do, because by the day I am studying in Harvard Medical school, you are probably still making pathetic videos, getting shot down by "noobs" and whine about it.

I don't cry when i got owned. but when it's my turn... then some losers start crying out and initiate kick vote against me.

That shouldn't be hard at all... but it would be dependent on the missiles having a proximity detonation. Flares are very small objects and thus, getting a colishion with them is unreliable.

Infact, thinking about flare object a little more and I'm not even sure they have mass. I've seen them pass through terrain and stuff.

We all got owned by jet but you can own if you fly. Since 1.2, even average pilots can win air combat. On the first night of 1.2, my AA tank(stole from MEC team) shot down SU34 and then i killed a couple of MECs around the hanger and stole their SU34. Then i scored 46 kills in a row. How didd i feel? Hell GOOD

This is battlefield not counter strike. If you hate being owned by jet you can simply play no-jet-maps or leave the server if you don't get the toy.

Serious time, need Wargimp or Duck really, how hard would it be to code that the flares cause the missle to explode?
