I did not make that video to prove that I'm some super pilot, I posted it as a rough guide to flying. It took a few rounds, it's cut not because I cocked up but I only have trial fraps 30 seconds. You know the stats 20,000 kills 9/1 k/d ratio and 200hrs spent flying so what do you think, and I didn't get them taking the easy option.

I'm an ok pilot and I hope an asset to any team I play on, there are lots better, I never give up, I've spent rounds in a F35 just running away from J10's, but if I can pull them off my choppers thats enough for me.

Once again you ignore most of the issues, and turn this into 'look at me and how great I'am' when the only thing I saw you do was baserape a team for ten minutes.

I ask you again that 'noob' who got behind you on Gulf of Oman and you just pulled up did he deserve the kill?

'Planewhore the video' I would be ashamed of playing that way, you think that deserves respect, lol, dream on.

Even if you are the best pilot which frankly I doubt it does not mean you have the definative answer on plane balance. In fact I'd say you were the last person to ask.

The key issue which you contiually fail to miss IS THAT THE GAME IS NOW BETTER FOR EVERYONE TO PLAY. It is a game for lots of players not something so that some bloke who thinks he's the mutts nutts can stroke his ego with.

You say in 1.12 you'd have beaten me in a dogfight, lol planewhore, are you kidding yourself that much? What dogfights, I'd have been the 'noob' you'd have chosen to ignore, so that you could have continued the endless rape of choppers taking off.

I doubt you'll see Dice change the game back so why not just give it up.

Very, very few pilots have statistics like those on my two pilot profiles. Don't believe me? Just click on the top pilots tab in BF2HQ (to give you the most experienced pilots in the game), click through from 1 on down the list and count how many pilots you see with these "alleged" 50:1+ K/D ratios. I've already looked to compare myself to how other pilots are doing and I can count the number of pilots with a decent K/D ratio mine in the top thousand on one hand.

Actually, my aircolony account far exceeds your Kill death ratio.

I could have easily done twice that number or more if 1) wouldnt get tked and 2) I had power supply problems that would restart computer during play.

You are not the best pilot, nor ever were the best pilot. Taking the best plane constantly and baseraping the carrier all the time isnt exactly something to be proud of.

If you compare accounts, or even my main account colony, you will see that I mostly fly the USMC jets and still dominate. I never had to cower in fear and take shelter in the J10 like you did.

You have not adapted to 1.2 like many others have, and this I believe is because you could only baserape before. Now that the essex and linebackers are deadly, you cant do that anymore.

Post a full video flying the F-35B against some competent J-10s on Dragon Valley, Wake Island or Dalian Plant for an entire game UNCUT AND ON A 64 PLAYER SERVER.

Oh man Jakswan, thank you for the comedy goldmine.

I watched your video, and I'm not going to lie, your little commentary snippets had me laughing throughout. Your commentary, punctuated by you getting hit by missiles from god knows where or getting locked on to and never fired at. Your video cannot be compared to my original PlaneWhore video because it is a bunch of cuts of you with some lame missile fire kills on aircraft, with all the parts edited out where you got slaughtered by (insert bad situation here). How many rounds did that take you to film? 100? 200? More? Post a full video flying the F-35B against some competent J-10s on Dragon Valley, Wake Island or Dalian Plant for an entire game UNCUT AND ON A 64 PLAYER SERVER. Do that and then you'll get some respect from me, even if it takes you 1000 takes to finally get it right.

You are at best, a 1/20th the pilot I am. Your bombing technique and performance is laughable, and the only reason you killed anything in that video is either a) newbie missiles b) reduction in armor on planes c) reduction on armor in helicopters. Like I've said before, newbie friendly planes. Every helicopter you killed (or didn't kill) in that video would've never died to you in 1.12, for a couple reasons. First, the missiles would've never hit, as you had no consideration of timing or technique, and two, they had much more armor and you would've done at best half the damage needed to kill them. In other words, you would've failed. Same story for your cannon work one those clueless pilots.

Actually, I thank you for posting that video, as it is perfect evidence of how shallow dogfighting and aviation in general has become. I especially like when you're chasing an inferior plane in your J-10 or MiG and you fire off missiles to early and the missiles end up killing some other enemy aircraft that was nowhere to be seen (either that, or a teammate, way to help the team btw).

Funny though, you never once attempted to dogfight in an F-35B, with the exception of was chasing a clueless bomber pilot (aka the sky truck). The one single J-10 pilot you engaged was a complete newbie (in the F-18). He didn't even bother attempting to out turn you, which he could've done at a drop of the hat. Why are you always in the MiG or J-10 Jak? Oh yeah, that's right, you can't dogfight in those other planes thanks to the imbalance the new newbie friendly missiles have created. I'm glad you're listening to my posts though, it's good you learned something from me. In 1.12 I 100% guarantee you would've been smoked 100% of the time by me in a dogfight irregardless of the type of plane I was flying, or you were flying. You couldn't just fire off missiles whenever you felt like it.

I'll say though, the one thing that truly amazed me is how you still managed to screw up hitting with AA missiles. I stand by the fact I have yet to miss a single AA missile (even if it only hits a teammate), but somehow, you manage to fail at something as simple as "lock and fire". Actually though, they didn't miss, but rather you experienced a new bug where missiles fire, hit the target, but do no damage.

Oh, one last thing, I like one of the last little clips in your video Jakswan, the first time going against a J-10 in a dogfight, and the subtitle for that clip is "their are other options", cut to you getting chased by a J-10 and then you BAILING OUT. I seriously LOLed at, a hearty laugh like I haven't had in a while, thanks.

threads like this are detracting from real issues like the crappy AT rocket bug and the slow infantry combat from the prone delay and the lame no firing while jumping. Not even over a wall!??

Hmmm.... how does it feel?... It feels GREAT.... no more retards (well not as many) get in jets, which makes it easier for me to get one. I love it how Planewhore tries saying hes the greatest thing ever in a jet, then turns around and starts crying about the AA... if anything, the A2A is too strong. But I have YET to die from an AA post-1.2. (only A2A, from other jets.)

Oh.. and... this patch didn't make my k/d any worse.




I've had plenty of games above this, but this is all I have a SS of. And Jakswan is right, if you aren't supporting your team, don't even bother flying jets. All I do is take out other vehicles, and people waiting for vehicles. But my priorities are basically:

1) AA (blow it up with my machine gun... takes less than a second, and most of the time I get around 2 kills)
2) Jets (you all know why this is a high priority)
3) Tanks (I am very good at bombing, and I rarely miss tanks)
4) Choppers (these are my favorite to take out :) just shoot at their cockpit for ~3 seconds, and BAM!)
5) Cars (just lead the target and theyre out basically in a second)
6) If nothing is in the sky or in an AA, I go to the main base with an airfield, and strafe the heli/jet pad with my machine gun, and blow up jets/heli's before they take off. EVERY turn around I do, I blow up the AA FIRST, and THEN kill the rest.
7) If we have all the bases except 1, I will just lay back and shoot in common areas (I'm going to make a whole jet tutorial as soon as I can figure out how to effectively capture video) and bomb ONLY where I know there is more than 3 people.

What I do in the round, is tell people I'm their personal mobile artillery, and for them to get something blown up, SPOT IT, and count to 15.

ppl are comlaining cus the sux, theres nothig you can do against PlaneWhore... be in his team or leave the game or if you so hate getting killed by planes than play map where there are no planes at all !!
