As I see, planes are still king of the air. Aren't they supposed to be? They can still take out tanks, choppers and inf easy. Why shouldn't AA take out planes easy?

Download the VLC media player here: http://videolan.org

It'll play just about anything without having to install individual plugins like you do with Windows Media Player.

Yeah, it wasn't one of my best rounds, but when it comes to recording, it's hard to know when to record and when not to. If I do decide to record, it seems like my game goes to crap and I can't hit anything- or there's nothing to shoot.

Match that with my 8 mbit Comcast connection that's only good while I'm at work and you've got a very painful combination...

Note: I make no claims whatsoever to be "the best" BF2 pilot. I do, however, know how to take down enemy planes and choppers, bomb armor, and evade when necessary. And, since PlaneWhore wanted to see a video that is uncut, here's his chance.

You'll notice that the video gets choppy at times. That's because I run at 1920x1200 and fraps doesn't seem to like it so well.

Watch it if you want- your comments are welcomed. I got the feeling from the last time that I posted it that only Wargimp watched it. I'm hoping for a bit more feedback this time around.

I watched it Soup, I remember I had a lot of issues with it, mainly its ATA aspect, but other than that its a quality video.

It seems to me there were more people bitching about the air superiority than defending it. In fact I did a decisive study into the matter and it turns out that 94.3% of people didn't like the way that planes and AA were in the previous patch and now 100% of people agree that the game is much better with improved AA, lowered armor for aircraft, and lower missle count for helos.

END OF BITCHING. EVERYONE AGREES GAME IS FINE NOW.

Ever since I stopped playing DC and started playing BF2 these missiles have frustrated the hell out of me. I hate being right on someones tail knowing if the missiles would fire straight I could have killed someone 5 times over. Instead I watch them get within an inch of the other player and flake off making impossible turns and nailing teammates. People argue that not having seekers is not realistic but I've never seen a missile on TV do a sharp angled zigzag before...

While they are at it they can fix the hit reticle change on planes as well.

Go back to playing DC.

KickPhucker, guys, please dont ever make such questions/suggestions on a BF2 forum. Seriously. If were playing BF2, the flight aspect of it, dont tell us to run to another game just because youre not content that people dont like some elements from it. I like BF2 flight because it gives a simple atmosphere to develop your skills and the fight/flight is more enjoyable because its TECHNICALLY not that demanding. ie, no preflight checklists to go through, no 1 hour flights until you get to action and whatnot.

I dont ask you to come with me outside after you beat me in Street Fighter 2, I advise you to not send anyone to try a "real game".

For the record I'll step outside with if that's what you're asking but hey....I was just asking a question that's no reason for physical assault is it?
