We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
I find it funny after DICE nerfs something that didn't need it, people who support the nerf-fest steal the "adapt and overcome" clause. Once you nerf something, what's there to adapt to? It simply makes killing TOO easy, unless you call adapting the act of learning to act like a retard.
4 medics sound just fine for a normal game. It's not ER you know. A majority should really be assault, not medics just because reviving gives easy points.
Yeah sounds good on a 32 player server im talking about 64 player. I said 4 or so, so that can mean 2,3,4 sometimes none
The only real problems i have with the PKM are as follows (as well as some fixes).
The sound bug, this alone is pretty much the one thing thats alowing support players to gun down most of their opponents, Dice will pretty much have to fix this in the 1.21 patch if they want to keep bf2 a popular game.
The standing accuracy, honestly its extremely absurd.... try holding your arms out for more than 4 minutes and you will understand why holding a PKM wich is a considerable weight and firing it accurately just is not realistic at all.
Keep the prone accuracy, but decrease the damage done by the pkm by.... 20-30% and make the deviation wilst standing massive..... to stop people running around using it as a direct assualt cannon.
As long as you bring back the sound of the pkm firing then people can and will be able to hone in on where the guy is hiding.... once hes been spotted it should be a very simple case of just sniping him with any rifle.
I tried it today on Mash. Unforutnately no one came to the flag by the hotel so I was left sniping from super long distances. I think I ended up with 5 kills.
You must have been in a no sniper server because there's usually at least a few M95ers and L96ers that take out building campers.
I'm not saying I'm impossible to snipe me when I'm up there, because a sniper is what eventually managed to end my killing streak in the video. But I had many snipers attempt to kill me and as long as I saw them at the same time they saw me regardless of range I'd kill them before they'd kill me. If I had a medic buddy up there with me we could stay indefinately, because alas once you've ticked off too many people they'll go to great lengths to kill you including but not limited to running all the way back up on that mountain somewhere and trying to snipe you from that location. As long as you keep mobile though, a sniper will have a very difficult time tracking you. All you have to do is shift over 10 feet to the other side of the building and to get a clean shot a sniper will have to walk 500 feet to compensate.
The only thing that limits my range when PKM sniping is the maximum view distance fog. Though even that didn't stop me from sniping that last person using only his name tag as a reference. I just managed the same thing again on a round of Sharqi, spent the entire round on a crane and ended up with 50 kills and only a couple of deaths.
The only players that kill me in a head on gun fight (close or long range) are other PKM users. It is only a matter of time till more people catch on and learn to work the PKM like I do. Every day I see more and more people playing as support (sometimes as many as 50% of the total players on the server using support). This video certainly won't help the situation in that regard, unless someone from DICE watches this video and it manages to knock some sense in to them.
lol then stop acting like you have proof of anything
What the hell are you talking about?

I know how long it takes to make a video, I've made them before. I'm saying most people don't know how, or want to waste even 10 minutes making one. It takes longer to learn and download the programs to do it than it doest to actually make a video. I am guessing you guys don't know how hard it is to get people to do something they've never done before.
1. After watching you fail to connect after the 4th round on the first enemy, I know you failed at PKM sniping.
Yeah because a couple missed shots really matters a lot with a hundred round clip, apparently you still don't get why the PKM is the best weapon in the game.
[quote=Hu.Z_of_PLA] 2. PKM sniping isn;'t new, I used to do it pre-1.2 and I have demos to back it up.
Post the demo files and we'll see, however I get the feeling you're going to accidentally lose them. I used the PKM (granted, not very much since I hadn't unlocked it) but generally speaking if you were at the ranges I was at with the 1.12 PKM it would be pretty much useless. At the very least you'd be much better off with a G36C or any number of other weapons.

3. Pretty much everything can snipe, I have a Mp7 sniping demo as well.
Not every weapon can snipe (jackhammer?), but quite a few weapons can. However PKM is the only one of those weapons with a 0.1 deviation, 100 round clip, and 45 damage per round.

4. Now if you can teach me how to convert those to AVI, I will show you that PKM is not overpowered, but Mp7 is.
The closer I look, the more it seems that this is the case.
Aside from a distinct lack of the usual chat spam, I also notice a questionable absence of clan tags.
Very odd.
Puts a dent in credibility.
Yet again Wargimp you're proving yourself to be a few bricks short of a house.
That video was recorded last night on a server called "SFR City - Urban Maps".
Take any name you see in the chat spam, look up the statistics for them onine, and look at the date played. I'll bet you'll be shocked to find out that all of my bots played BF2 late last night on SFR City - Urban Maps.
