What has actually happened is that it does not take any skill to play like someone that has been playing from day 1. People complained for the wrong reasons and the changes are not all that great. Anyone can become a great pilot, it takes practice and time to develop your skills. The players that complain about "jet/chopper whores" are the one that get owned 95% of the time anyway.
Your comment of the "noobs go away" is a bunch of bullsh*t. I would also guess that you are the only one that believes it.

No, Im not worrying about this. Great pilots will still rack scores. They will be just a LOT more cautios and a whole new atmosphere will be created. I just dont feel like its fair that a n00b AAer can take out a "pro" pilot with little to no effort.

You know its funny...I was criticized yesterday for saying I was not jumping up and down over this patch...that I was not going nuts over it, that I honestly didn't really want it to come because I knew it was going to change the game play. I was criticized for stating that i knew there would be threads of not happiness, but hate of the new patch. Why? Because every single patch has been the same way. I had gotten annoyed with people "OMG CANT WAIT" for this stupid patch....and frankly, I find it funny so many people dislike it after all the hype.

The game has been changed, it is not BF2. Once again, as with previous patches...we are going to have to learn and adapt to the game (which if people had done before, there would be no need to have made such a drastic patch as this...omg they are bunny hopping, so learn to shoot them, omg a chopper, learn to shoot it down etc) ...and once we learn to adapt to this version of the game...guess what, a new patch will come out because people whined about something and the game play will change yet again.

I really wish people would just play the game for fun...so what if you got tubed...blown up by some jet or chopper, etc....just play the game...have fun....you dont HAVE to have the game changed dramatically just so you can have fun....people let stupid parts of the game bother them...as I said...if they would have learned to adapt, there would be no problem. This comes from a guy that doesn't care much for flying, and I use armor when the idiots on the team don't know how to use it. Otherwise i prefer to stay on the ground.

um, actually a canadian shot him down idiot.

im canadian and very well connected with the air force and would know this.

even in WWI it wasnt possible to shoot down a manuevering fighter from the air with a semi auto rifle.... while being shot at by machine guns?

just played it for 2 hours, tried everything - conclusion: i hate it. the battlefield spirit is gone, its a whole different game now.

snipers and AA missles are way too strong. everybody can shoot down a jet now, i mean everybody, even if planewhore is sitting in it. blackhawk is useless, miniguns dont do anything anymore. being infrantry you are getting sniped permanetely. and the n00btuber still is the same as before. i dont understand. i think i am done with this.

Update after thinking about it for 24 hours:

Still hate it. So much. Being able to jump and prone and fire really fast and then get up to find the next target was never a real big issue for me, but i used it. Now that its gone, i miss it like the desert misses the water. now i feel like my grandmother playing this game. Infrantry Action is so slow now. Both players dive and stay prone till the fight ends, usually with a random headshot.

What angered me greatly was the grenade launcher. I was happy to hear that they change it in the patch, so you can do more infranty fighting, c4chucking and shotgunstyle. But all this is limited now, but the noobtubing hardly changed at all.

Also the snipers are way to strong now. Being 5 times in a row shot down by sniper yesterday, i dicided to go sniper by myself. I was ridiculous. I never really used to sniper class (i suck at sniper) but yesterday i shot so many people, its not funny anymore. I thought they wanted to keep Bf2 a teamplay game and then i have to see this.

I think the AA - jet/helo action was balanced before the patch. The only thing that was not balanced was the j10-thrust. now its just stupid. i tried it yesterday, just sitting in the essex and i am pretty sure the flares didnt help when you locked the jet.

well anyways thank you whining bitching little noobs for ****ing up a perfectly good game. EA should have asked the expierienced players opinions.

Well excuse me.I didnt know that one had to be both Canadian and very well connected with the air force in order to know exactly who killed the Red Baron, I'm just an American with Google, what do I know.

To this day there is still controversy surrounding the death of the Red Baron, but being Canadian and well connected to the airforce you know that didnt you...

I think everything is fine. Just changes made that you gotta get used to. You can complain all you want but it's not going to go away overnight depending on how much you complain.
