I love everything about the new patch except one thing, the new prone. I dont mind no dolphin diving or bunny hopping but the prone just takes way to long. It feels sluggish and makes bf2 feel a lot slower. Other then that I love weakend air and the new 203s. Snipers man....so good now. Although the support is now overpowered still fine by me if toned a little down. I always thought that class was to weak but now its a little to strong.Comment

Absolutely. Oberst-Moser. It takes UBER1337 skills. Its not like you cant be shot down or anythint. (not that you cant be an engineer, have an enginner and have 2 supply boxes around you). Now THAT my friend, is skill.
Personally. I cant wait to hear you guys post stories about how infantry yelled "PWNED JET WHORE" when they shot you down. "Aim Wait Click Kill" demans just so much more skill than flying a jet.
On a note, gentlemen, let me break it down to those who do not speak English or are just too slow to get the fact through their thick skull.
When you have no flares and theres a solid lock-on. You stand ZERO chances. That comes from pilots who have far more hours in a jet than you. Meaning- those people actually know what they are saying.
There will be no new strategies and tactics. Lockon= deadon. The only strategy will be to strike from above and get the **** off back up. But there is no way to outmaneuver a missile.
If you call it a balance, then I, as an infantry n00b demand auto-aiming bullets and smoke screen for infantry.Comment

you fvcking ignorant nublet, tanks never were and still aren't invincible unlike the jets before 1.2. there's a thousand and one ways to take out a tank camping anywhere on any map, especially the hotel on karkand and that's what i do when i play with my other account (KamikazeManiac).
it's pretty obvious that it's only the fvcking jet whores who are actually whining because now they actually need some skill to score some kills. no longer is it drops bombs, reload, rinse, repeat.Comment

Welcome, another hypocrite. You say tanks arent invincible? Jets arent either. It takes some mastering of skills to get them both done. The problem is that theoretically you cant get 32 players against a jet, but you can do so against a tank.Originally posted by [UT]MajorHavoc

a rocket can take out a chopper in one hit irl, now it does in game BRILLIANT!
Sniper rifles are more accurate, also brilliant, people that snipe irl, can usually shoot hence the accuracy on them.

Tank score on sharqi... what happened? I was the engi for my buddy in his tank.
I shot down the MEC chopper twice with the 50, he shot it down 3 times with his turret.
