I am not comparing it with real life. I know the difference between simulations and arcade games as i have been playing both for 15 years or more.

There has to be a reality factor, even very little, since you are talking about a game that is based on modern warfare.

The reality i am talking about is the same as soldiers being have to reload with animation. If you say this is arcade then why dont we:

          1. Let infantry reload in a milisecond time, let's just not go through the animation.

          2. Let soldiers to never get tired and give them infinite stamina

          3. Let tank shells go without any projectile, that is when you fire them with an angle, there is no drop.

          And so on...

What i see with people is, when there is something that is good for majority of people, that should be considered as arcade, but when there is something that pi$$es off those majority people, they consider it as too realistic.

Well I guarantee you that there won't be ANY patch until next May or June. So you can either stop playing or keep playing. Complaining about these things even before the patch is released will not make one bit of a difference.

No. Most of the people who got pounded by jets were the people who positioned themselves as perfect bomb targets. That is nothing but the players fault. The simple fact that you could choose whether or not to die by a bomb was enough. Jet pilots now cannot have the luxury against STAs.

Agree, but this same technique of launching air-to-air missiles worked often pre-1.2. Close in with afterburner and fire a few missiles when nearly point blank.

Exactly...I mean what do you expect to happen if you drive your jeep out in the middle of the damn beach and try to take down a blackhawk with the .50 cal?

Or what do you expect to happen if you wait for tanks or APCs to spawn right by the flag out in the open.

I always said this and always will say it..."The plane doesn't kill you because they are powered, you get yourself bombed with your own mistake"

Anywhere on the map made you a bomb target. Try to cap a flag, bombed; try to drive a vehicle, bombed; try to move from point "A" to point "B", bombed.. You must be a disgruntled pilot.

It was wrong, that's why they fixed it.

Trust me, those guys at DICE have MS in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, and even AeroSpace Engineering. They know plane physics better than anyone in this forum.

Yeah, you could choose, you know by like....spawning, or being with-in 15 meters of your squad. Stupid stuff like that.

I dont need an example of the opposite. I am telling you that you cannot compare this game to real life. I dont even have to tell you WHY because youre old enough to see that this will bring in elements that will have your own comparision contradict with itsself. For example. You compare jets killing others with dead on proficiency from 100 feet distance. I say that a .50 cal shot in the face wont be cured with defibs and so on.

I dont want this game to be a military simulation. I have my own games for that. I dont need dead-on realism here. I need some balance.

The problem is, balance can be achieved by honing your skills. As said before. When a player has 100 hours in a jet, it MUST be illogical and unbalanced for a player with 10 seconds in AA to be able to take him down. Thats the ultimate point.

If the player with 100 hours is so stupid to make a 75 degree dive when going with 1,000 mph to take out a ground AA, he can have 1500 hours in aircraft, a player with the brain of a 10 year old WILL take him down even the first time he uses the AA.

Skill doesn't come with long hours, it comes with intelligence combined with experience. If every experienced soldier in the army were the best skilled soldier, then we wouldnt have 45 year old sgt. majors, they all would be in white house.

LOL. Thats just ignorant and stupid.

A bomber pilot aims his bombs at "something" obvious. Just stay away from that something and youre cool. if you DONT. Then you being killed is your own fault. And driving a vehicle out in the open is SUPPOSED to get you killed.

Problem was/is, that a person with 500 hours in AA still couldn't take out a jet..

Thast just one of the examples. I greet this. Seriosuly. Going head on into a STA site while STA has a lock on you shouldnt leave you alive. BUT; if youre evading and moving off and you cant shake the missiles no matter what. THAT is the problem Im talking about. THAT is what you have yet to realize. Even though various people have presented this problem to you.
