They are just saying how it can be improved, nothing more. If they didn't like it, they wouldn't come here.

come on, yeah they would. people love to complain some don't have any constructive ideas to offer.

btw - making the plane land would be a good idea for repair/reload.

              2. It will make planes more vulnerable, slower, less deadly force.

              3. It will make the game and planes more realistic.
              4. Give TK'ers and punishers 10 times more chances to steal aircraft and cause trouble.

You'd have to alter the acceleration of the jet engines and give them runways that weren't built with absolutely NO consideration for aircraft other than perhaps the F-35 using V/TOL capability. Nearly every runways except the carrier has a mountain, building, tree, or a combination of all of these right at the edge of the runway. By making them land, you also must make the controls and map design for jets much more realistic, or the jets stand no chance getting back off the ground anytime soon without slamming into something (or the nearest n00b with an M95 or C4 that's standing in front of you demanding you get out of "their" plane)

Re: Why many people are quitting BF2 for good -- it's not fun anymore

My biggest beef is that every jet in the game has the capabilities to interfere/affect every inch of the battlefield - they're too ubiquitous and they need to be more specialized.

I'd like to see the role of ground attack and air attack split more distinctly, requiring the dogfighters to concentrate on dogfighting and the ground attackers to concentrate on ground attack and not being shot down by the dogfighters.

Most of you remember this, but see The core causes behind BF2's jet situation for the full discussion.

                    :)

I like the game, and when I play I adapt to the game. I like the tactical side and working with my team, but if it becomes a show at Seaworld, grenadelaunchers, and bunnys for all. Getting pounded by jets? Get in one, on the AA, or avoid them and take flags. Pilots are predictable, I know when I fly you can always bet, if one of our flags greys, it's getting strafed, so....neutralize, move off, let the air/arty come, then cap.

                    Adapt and overcome.

I've just crossed the 400 hour mark in game time, and i'm still loving the game as much as when I first started playing it!! still haven't really spent much time in tanks and helo's but looking forward to doing so very much..

It's been some value & entertainment for 25 quid, sure that wouldn't even buy a round of drink down the pub..

Well actually, TBF2.com is owned and operated by someone other than you or me, so your "rights" are extend as far as all of ours here, and not effected by the fact that you paid for a game.

I could careless what you do here, or in BF2, doesn't effect my enjoyment of the game. But lets get real, scanning though the forums is a whine fest of "I got owned, and now I'm whining about it to the world because surely they care". We don't. Sure, I feel your pain that you bought the game and now don't like it because sometimes you have a bad day, but get with the program, there's ways to fix everything that you come up against in this game. There is no single unstoppable force that dominates the game, maybe a round or two till you team pulls it's head out of it's collective ass, but otherwise certainly nothing that has to be posted over and over again. If enemy air power is dominating, it's because YOUR team lets it.

If people want to whine and complain like a bunch of little school girls, and quit, go ahead, I'll still be playing and having fun.

alot of waffle but at the end of it you cant say that this game doesnt feel dumbed down abit in respect of the last titles (well BFV was aswell) and it's not because our team lets an enemy j-10 dominate it because theres NOTHING to bring it down, as in unbalanced!

as i said to wargimp, you have fun no one's saying you cant but maybe you need to get real to the fact that the game is an unbalanced mess at the minute, like or or not, it is.

I agree with Village-idiot. Planes and heli's too powerful AA too Crap. That's why i now play Special forces and vanilla Urban Maps only.
