What DICE has fail to do, I think, is provide real infanty maps.

I think this is what SF was supposed to be like, but becayse they introduced the new choppers and other vehicles they had to show them off in just about every map...

I too could really go for an infantry focused booster pack with a few maps like Karkand, Mashtuur and Ghost town (with out the choppers)... Nice and crowed with some interiors...

if you want infantry only, go back to CS.

Until now i have already played almost 600 hours BF2

Thats your problem why its not fun anymore. Same goes for a lot of people. Take a break from it then come back. Thats wut i do. I always end up really addicted to it again after a few weeks.

Wow another thread up to 21 pages, is this thread going toe to toe with the moongamers thread?

Look I have taken time off from BF2 twice now. First time it was a 3 week break. About 2 of those weeks were due to ISP issues. Then I had a self enforced break of about 2 months. This was due to the extreme workload of admining a server and not really playing.

Now I'm back into it again and I must say I'm loving it more than ever. I'm now at the stage where I just try and forget everything that is wrong with this game like bugs and am only playing it to play with mates and the enjoyment I get for using great teamwork. Of course that's when I actually get a chance to play and don't have to admin. Still can't remember the last time I actually played a full round without having to deal with a rule breaker, tard or whinger, though I guess that's the price you pay for having a private ranked server at least I can deal with them.

If I was a loner and playing by myself I would have shelved it months ago and never returned.
