lol XBOX360 doesn't support 4xAA only 2xAA I believe. And just looking at all the launch titles, they look like utter crap in terms of gfx, even HL2/Source games beat out the gfx. This was supposed to be "next-gen". Gameplay is another story though. Only talking gfx here. Also have you seen the BF modern combat for the xbox360? PC is 1000x times better looking.

You can't play Battlefield 2 on the 360, isn't it just "modern combat" and not the same game we're all playing?

I don't understand why people are so afraid of using console controllers to play FPS games, there are plently of fun FPS games on consoles. :) I agree a mouse is generally better though..

I was at bestbuy and they have one in a Inch thick glass case..
Sufficed to say that no one has tampered with it since its under lock and key.

So i walked up to give,er a try..and guess what.

The xbox version is dumbed down a TON. Helicopters practically fly themselves, AA is 100% acurate, and when you go prone, there is always a little red kill-me sign over everyone's head, any gun is as accurate as a sniper rifle. I played the pc version and then tried this, and I just couldn't stand it. If you get the xbox 360, you will probably be dissapointed.

Like I like to say, Xbox systems for me are just wannabe gaming computers. Most xbox games ended up on pc, and I think the same will happen with 360. If I want a console, I want something that pc can't give me.. nintendo and some ps3 games

The xbox360 is so lame, you guys seen the graffix? ha!... its in the dark ages alongside gameboys and c64's. Dont waste time and money buying a box you'll ignore after a month or two.

The XBOX 360 version of BF2 obviously hasn't been released yet - you're probably assuming the game play will be the same as the XBOX. But we still don't know for certain. I agree with you the game play is much better on the PC but I think the PC game play has its own problems as well - i.e., memory hogging engine, hackers, etc.

there is a ps2 adaptor for you to hook up mouse and keyboard to xbox.
there will not be any games as good as pc bf2 for it.
if i got one free i would sell it and buy 400$ of guitar strings.
then i would play guitar during the 5min loading after every game.

Listen - I'm just trying to be sensible. I wrestled the urge to order a better machine (at least better than what I have) yesterday - an ALIENWARE ALS machine. I ordered the machine yesterday then reluctantly cancelled today. Then I woke up this morning and kicked myself, thinking "What the Feck did I just do yesterday??? So I cancelled the order.

If you were trying to be sensible you wouldn't have ever considered Alienware.

OMG... anybody who just said that the 360 is crap is 100% WRONG - It's amazing for what it is... it isnt a computer... its a video game console... so obviously you cant compare the two... one is made more people who want decent graphics/gamin etc. and dont have piles of cash and the other for people who can afford to upgrade their PCs constantly.
Personally I think that the XBox 360 is great...

I'm not some kind of git that goes around forums saying that something is better than something else wothout knowing my facts.

I have seen the xbox 360 and it is nothing to brage about. There is playing games and there is Gaming, Consols do not compare to computer gaming in any way. So i think your wasting ur money and in order to play xbox online u have to play more on top of what u pay for internet.

~The xbox is already out powered by pcs, the triple core SHARES the cache, dual core cpus for pc have individual cache, the graphics card is a 6000 series. And I get really good framerates on SF with my 5950
