Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Well besides getting my ass handed to me because my team flatout sucked. That little fix I posted took my FPS back up to an average of 37 frames.
Playing about 3 rounds and switching a map, then another 3 rounds, then a map switch. It crashed to my desktop after loading warlord.
Get off your f'in ass DICE and start fixing these problems!
Ya i tried the fix u posted, unfortunately didn't help me much - but then maybe it will now i've changed this other setting :), like i said altho my stuttering is gone my FPS is still way lower
Actually...this does NOTHING! I thought I saw improvements, but I was on an empty server. As soon as a got on a populated server (45 players), the Apache on Leviathan became COMPLETELY unpilotable (is that a word?).
Sorry it didn't help everyone, but nice to hear it helped at least a few :)
I'll keep looking into other ways to get the performance back, as tbh im still not happy with the performance :/
You know something just dawned on me my fellow BF2 gamers, you guys just paid to beta test their game for them. I'm hearing about waay too many problems on SF. I was going to get it after I heard some good news about the game, but heck ... I'm still waiting.
EA/Dice, whoever had part in testing the game before it was allowed to be shipped needs to be put in check.
I don't feel comfortable messing with config files, the game runs fine for me, I have a 7800 GTX (256MB) and I run everything at the highest setting and it works for me. I have 3GB of RAM, and yes I do get lag spikes sometimes but lowering my graphic settings doesn't help it all. I think it's somethign else. Anyhow, I'm afraid that if I mess with the config files I'll end up ****ing everything up and next thing you know windows dies.
