Ahh cool...so that works for you then?

Do you have a seperate Audio card? ... and what do you recommend?

Get off your f'in ass DICE and start fixing these problems!

Yeah..it didn't affect my FPS but the stutter while piloting a chopper has improved.

Sorry to hear that it didn't fix. I still having problems also. Warlord faild to load and it dropped me back to desktop.

I guess we all have to wait for DICE to **** out another patch.

Actually...this does NOTHING! I thought I saw improvements, but I was on an empty server. As soon as a got on a populated server (45 players), the Apache on Leviathan became COMPLETELY unpilotable (is that a word?).

              Anyway..nice try

Sorry it didn't help everyone, but nice to hear it helped at least a few :)
I'll keep looking into other ways to get the performance back, as tbh im still not happy with the performance :/

You know something just dawned on me my fellow BF2 gamers, you guys just paid to beta test their game for them. I'm hearing about waay too many problems on SF. I was going to get it after I heard some good news about the game, but heck ... I'm still waiting.

EA/Dice, whoever had part in testing the game before it was allowed to be shipped needs to be put in check.

Yes, its def.ly the sound that makes the game slow, when I managed to update a self-made audio driver hibridid the lag stopped :)

and just the other day some how i had to resinstall all my drivers again, so i got the new one 81.95?

well i was at sharqi with 2xaa and it was suttering, 32 map with only 16 players in it

tonight i might try rolling back to a known working driver

I don't feel comfortable messing with config files, the game runs fine for me, I have a 7800 GTX (256MB) and I run everything at the highest setting and it works for me. I have 3GB of RAM, and yes I do get lag spikes sometimes but lowering my graphic settings doesn't help it all. I think it's somethign else. Anyhow, I'm afraid that if I mess with the config files I'll end up ****ing everything up and next thing you know windows dies.
