I enjoy the fact that everyone complains and also raves about the same thing. Thats because its everyones opinions, and i think people have a right to voice them without taking sh*t from some jack*ss. All those who think what people say and feel about something is stupid or wrong, then you dont understand why this country is so great!

I got no words what I think about you complainers, but DC people do you want DC, then play DCombat or DConflict when it launches. Oh and why play a game that suck or why do people even play games that suck, you dont need an IQ ov 150 to understand that, SOME PEOPLE LOVE THESE GAMES.

Oh and yeah, you all should stop complaining about Dice and EA and try make a game yourself. Probly some people will love it and some people will hate it, but isnt that what makes us humans

Funny seeing most guys/girls complaining about a game play it evryday. Have you evr thought about if all you DC guys who dont like BF2, just started playing DC instead right from the beginning when BF2 launched. If there was enough people going back to DC, EA and DICE where bound to notice if that happend and maybe they would have done something about it.

Oh and patches tend to change a game, since the patches usually reflect what the community want

Last but not least. You guys that feel that you shouldnt have bought the game, hmm wonder why they launched the demo before the game

See what I'm getting at? Also, don't bring up the "try it yourself" argument, it's not our jobs to make computer games. It's EA's job, and they should at least do a good job. Also, "IQ ov 150", how ironic, you horribly misspelt a two-letter word smack in front of "IQ" and behind "150". Also, you can't really judge a game by the demo, that's why it's a demo (which is shorthand for demonstration) People expected to get a better game in the full version (a reasonable expectation), so who are you to judge, Mr. "ov 150". They did, they released their own version of DC. It's called Battlefield 2.

All these stupid BF2 fanboys need to realize that without DC, there would never have been a BF2. It was us DC fans that spurred the sales of BF1942 and it was Traumas insight that made BF2 a possiblity. Unfortunately DICE ****ed up and didn't make BF2 the way it should have been. Fortunatley Rising Conflicts may fix that when it is released. I don't know why everyone keeps mentioning POE, it is a very dull mod and their maps were uninspiring.

Nobody wanted a DC clone. We wanted an updated DC in BF2. The questions are why did they abandon so many of the best parts of DC when they made BF2 instead of adding them in to make the game even bigger and better.

Don't get me wrong i love BF2 and i think its great. Probably the best game out there right now. But they could have made it even better. I guess we'll have to wait for BF3, hopefully its not a even Further FUTURE warfare game....

U need to realise that if there wasn't Dice there wouldn't be DC. Y'all need to get some respect. This game is not easy in terms of gameplay. It's not like cs were u only need to think about the gun physics. There's alot more thrown in the mix. Some of you may think it couldve done better. Well i guess u know by now, we'll have to wait and see what the mods bring us. Besides there's nothing a patch can't fix.
Whatever they do, games will never be perfect. I can't imagine how much bugs they fixed before game gone retail. Bugs come out there ears. And then afterwards the best testers are the community so speak up and tell them how it can be better. I can ensure u they have already enough work, they can't think of everything. Sure they can also bring lot more content, keep in mind tho, mods don't have a deadline from their publisher nor do they have budget restrictions. It's all for fun, there's no rush.

Btw Poe had the best models I have ever seen in a mod. They also had some nice features like the sabot and heap rounds for tanks, was absolutly lovely. Unfortunatly the balance was unaccurate and the skilless "shoot and forget" heat seeking missiles killed it for me. That's why bfv also was a huge letdown.

What happened? I was under the impression that the guys from Desert Combat collaborated with EA to produce BF2. Is this correct?

It can't be, because Desert Combat had so much more stuff than BF2 has.

1. Bf2 has so many fewer types of vehicles.

Where's the scud?
Where's the MLRS?
Where's the minibird?
Where's just the average beat down car or tanker truck laying around?
Where's the ZSU?
The Vulcan?

2. Kits have fewer items.

No binoculars
Where's the damn Laser Designator we were promised?
Where's the shoulder launched anti-air?

3. Weapons are crap.

Anti-air missiles? Please.
.50 sniper rifle? No zoom and crap damage.
Light Machine Guns? Takes 400 rounds to kill someone.
Etc.

4. Bunny Hopping: ***

5. Black Hawk can take up to 2 tank shots.

And the list goes on and on. Desert Combat was so superior to this game that it's difficult to imagine that the same people worked on both.
