Do vehicle whores bother you?

I like vehicle whoring... The vehicles are there to be used. If on the ground, I'm invariably in a squad, so for instance if I have a vehicle, 9 times out of 10 I will drive to the squad leader's location and help them out with supporting fire, or if I'm a squad leader, get a vehicle so the squad can move around faster. The only two things that do annoy me a little, are people who kill you to get a vehicle and players who steal a vehicle I've jumped out of to fix (grr!!!).

Well seeing as I have an Saitek X-52 Flight Stick because I play Flight Sims(Pacific Fighters mostly) I decided it was high time I try my hand at flying.Right away it became a whole new game(and not in a good way),suddenly im being Tk'd,C4'd, I even had some jerk drive over with an AA Tank and start shooting me with it. I just couldnt believe the childish lengths these "Pilots" will go to to get a plane
BTW flying these aircraft is great in comparison to real Flight Sim AC,so overall Im enjoying the experience with "Arcade" AC.
I also admire the Helo Pilots as that is a whole different Animal to fly tho I can "Fly" it the hovering etv is something I still need to get the hang of

people who b*tch about vehicle whores bother me. there are certain vehicle whores who piss me off though.

1. some guy who goes by the name "castellano", he doesn't last more than 60 seconds inside any vehicle, be it a tank, APC, whatever. allowing him to whore a vehicle is just a loss to the team that he plays on.

2. another m*therf*cker who uses the name "WarpaQ", if you happen to be near the respawn point of a vehicle before him, you're dead because the b*tch will TK you so he can grab the vehicle.

3. yet another m*therf*cker who goes by the name "edbrigham" or something like that, if you get a vehicle before him, he'll deliberately jump in front so he gets TK'ed and can get you kicked eventually.

so watch out for these punks. if they're good at anything, it's ruining the game experience.

I will never team kill in order to grab any vehicle, however if there is a vehicle near by I will probably pick it up just to get across the map quicker or if I have some other team mates, use it effectively to kill some people.

My biggest problem is the vehicle whore that kills teamates to get it. I can pilot a slick with the best, and it really angers me when some asshat shoots me to get in the chopper only to do nothing with it. Another tactic of these infants is the suicide by your vehicle punish. This childish behavior sickens me, If they can't have it then nobody can. I found the best way to deal with these guys is not to retaliate, but to just switch teams; Seek them out, and kill them over and over until they disconnect or you get bored of killing them. I learned the hard way to not retaliate when I got kicked from a server for killing a clan member that was using all of the above tactics. It was funny because he was taunting me when he took off in his chopper rigged with my C4.

The thing that pisses me off is when I am in a BH in F2 and there is no one in F3. And then no one jumps in....WTF? To add insult to injury, I am an engineer, so I also have to go to F4-F6 to repair while no one issitting gunner...

I think the people who get mad at vehicle whores are themselves a vehicle whore.. because why else would you get mad? because you are trying to beat someone else to it and you are being beat?

I don't really enjoy helicopter or jet combat, and I only take tanks or APC's if they're just sitting there, most of the time because I'd rather not have an enemy using it...

If there are a lot of vehicles in a round , I'll switch to AT.. or look for a tank. Vehicles are fun to kill... and it's sometimes funny knowing that you are killing a tank whore, because there are some maps when i'll kill a tank 3 or 4 times and its the same guy in it.. so I know I'm killing a tank whore... LOL... but the name doesn't mean anything.. someones gonna take that tank either way, so you're going to have to face it... switch to something that has AT capabilties or get the hell out of the way lol.

I NEVER team kill to get a vehicle, if someone gets there before me its all good. I don't mind being a passenger, especially if I'm an engineer. My only beef is, why in hell did they arm the engineer with only a shotgun as a primary? IRL, combat engineers are armed with assault rifles. Don't get me wrong, the shotgun's great in CQB but other than that, its useless.

Getting back on topic, I tend to whore APCs, Tanks and what not but steer clear of aircraft unless I'm a passenger. I won't shoot anyone to grab a vehicle but have been TKed by some idiot who wants one I'm going for. I hate getting penalized for TKs when someone runs in front of your ride and don't have time to stop or someone who drives up behind you when your in armour and can't see them. They should have the good sense to give us a wide berth unless its another engineer of course which I'll stop for when I hear the ratchet.

Yep I've been TK'ed for vehicles too... and when I resurrect.. I'm always armed with an AT kit... I try to hold the rage back and just damage the **** out of the vehicle they took from me so its almost useless, then let someone else finish them off.

I mean seriously if you want it that bad just say so, I'll give the thing up in most cases
