Do vehicle whores bother you?

not on everymap but the people who get the tanks over and over again on karkland can make me a little angry but the same two people working in an attack helo is fine, so I can expect and know my place whether it is taking a tank in Daqing oilfields or fighting off infantry as infantry in a base.

hmm, this is a good thread, i kind of dislike-like both sides to this... it sbeen meny times where i been piloting in a server geting some good hits and kills.. then i die or crash, then some otehr bugger nicks the plane so am like meh... they do nothing.. dont evan get kills or evan ahrdly any when they could of just let me have the plane which the team score will benefit from and also he would cos he would prob get more kills on the gound...

but also theres the other side which is if they wanna fly it evan tho there rubbish then let them... cos after all a game is ment for fun.

Whores are fine, but they dont have to shoot u, to get the heli or the tank, they can ask, u dont have pay with a bullets in the ass, jst beacuse someone else wants the tank or the heli 2!

Here's my 2 cents...

If a dude is hogging a vehicle but does well in it, let him have it! Or take it from him ... who cares? I only get pissed off when the idiots hog the vehicles, don't do anything for the team, and keep going back to the same vehicle. TK that fool, IMO. If they're doing well, so be it. I've "whored" vehicles many a time (as in, spawning back and waiting the 30 secs to take it), so I really can't get mad. :)

The worst thing is when you have 5 guys sitting around waiting for a plane on maps like Gulf of Oman or Clean Sweep. Sh*t, I LOVE being MEC commander on Gulf of Oman because I am almost GUARANTEED multiple arty kills on the carrier.

Another thing that "grinds my gears" (from the new Family Guy movie :), have you guys seen it? ) is when people just SIT in the vehicle and DON'T MOVE.

Just curious about the damage people can do to armour. I know these this much debated discussion about where to hit a tank with a rocket, but what about other weapons.

Grenades seem to do very little even when I roll them under the tank or a APC for that matter.

What about mounted MG's? do they do any damage at all, if so to what.

What about the PKM? does that do much damage to HumV's, APC's, or BH's? Does a mounted MG do much damage to a BH, or apache?

How about the M203? what sort of damage does that do to a Abraham? or APC? because I've hit a APc a couple time with a M203 grenade and it seems to do very little. Am I hitting it in the right place?

Any comments on any of these points would be much appreciated... Thanks

I'm fine with vehicle whores. It's when they start shooting at you to get you away from the vehicle. A simple solution I've found is to simply provoke them: shoot at their feet or jab your knife threatingly to make them kill you, then punish. Repeat the process until banned.

Personally I like being a passenger in the attack helo; I'm excellent with the TV guided missiles. :)

Barely anything to a tank, maybe 1 sliver. 3 to 4 for an APC.

None that I have ever seen.

Good damage to Hummers, none to APC's, decent to BH's... and ground mounted machine gun I've used winds up with me dying alot. So I don't use them anymore.

2 or 3 slivers to an Abrams, More to an APC.. When I'm getting hit with them, I can locate the perp fairly easily and finish him before he has a chance to do some real damage.

yea i would, what is the big deal? im not going to get all offended over a name. there is enough to worry about in life without getting all bothered about who has what screen name.

anyhow, back to the original topic before the history lesson on stalin started.

i can see how people get upset about people who use vehicals alone but there are times when i play engineer and grab a car to repair our stuff and defend at the sametime. the guys who grab a helo just to get somewhere is stupid. i try never to waste them and rarely get out in a hot area for fear the enemy will steal it.

I hate when people camp the helicopters. I could be waiting for a long time trying to get one. I'll even wait "in line" sorta a speak, and they just run up and take it. I hate them.

what annoys me with the APC's is when i spawn and then one is there and kills me before i could move. OR i run for cover and it kills me when im covered cuz the rounds have splash damange (they do enough on impact, do they really need the splash). Also the fact that RARELY do i see my teammates trying to kill it and i end up going Anti-Tank... nit it once, reload, hit it again, die... respawn hit it once, die... respawn hit it once die... respawn hit it once... teammate shooting at it with his M16 gets the kill and i get no kill assist. Thats why i love the F-15E... get my revenge for what the APCs do to my on karkand :laugh:
