Bringing the subject of Anti-Tank Mines (ATM) back up, and how much pressure they require to detonate, you guys may be interested in reading this report: http://www.landmineaction.org/resour..._footsteps.pdf (329Kb PDF)
To cut a long story short, simply running along flat ground, an ordinary unladen 24 year old male will exert a force of over 2000 Newtons beneath his feet. This is around 200 Kilograms of force and will easlily detonate an ATM.
Hybris saying that you can jump up and down on an ATM without it detonating is complete tat. He was either incredibly lucky, or wasn't jumping on a live ATM.
Don't change the mines back lads, they are more realistic in your mod. If anything, you should introduce a random element to the detonation pressure so that one mine wont detonate when personnel run over it, but the next might be set slightly more sensitive.
It takes up to 5 maybe 6 seconds after you toss the smoke grenade before it goes off. At least that's what happens for me.
About the smg:s, the recoil perhaps reflects real life values? I don't think that weapons should match eachother perfectly unless they do in real life.
lol that's a lot of kills. Anyways I already know about the issues, and snowman maybe if we could manually change gears in the tank we could figure out the tanks speed - because right now the tanks run off of 1 gear, and that can't be fixed right now. As for the helicopters and **** it's because I never got anyone to tell me what to do with them so I left them the way they were from like v.04, and never truley tested them. You've got to understand testing everything you do would take forever.
Ok one other suggestion (that's me above--I spelled my handle wrong at registration :P)--please add some sort of sway to the zoomed-in sniper rifles. I didnt notice any sway while standing/crouching/prone. We don't want any rail guns, heh.
EDIT:
Also been wondering why the fighter/bombers (F-15, SU-34, etc) get five bombs when there are clearly only three visible? DICE makes me wonder sometimes. You guys gonna change it to three bombs? Also where the heck are the weapons on the F-35? No weapons are visible on its in-game model.
Finally the sniper (designated marksman) is missing his ghille suit. I dunno if this is an oversight or if you guys intentionally removed it.
Designated Marksmen are not snipers, they are "just another solider of the unit" and do not carry ghille suits. So if it was a misstake, please leave it as it is.
So, by those two pics, we have about 2000 people who are interested in playing a more realistic BF2....... that is good news. Can't wait for PRMM and further editions of this mod to come out.
Wow, not to mention the fact that you can't play this mod online, and still this many people have dled it.

Yes, this damned dedicated server problem is getting annoying... To say the least! Hopefully someone who knows dedicated servers will come to our aid ASAP.
But, I still think it's so damn fun just to play against bots!
.07 might take a bit longer to come out because since we're only finding things to fix, and running out of things to add i'm moving on the to the big coding.
