We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
We know... For some reason some people have all the luck in the world.
Then there are some, like me, who needs anything from a shoehorn to some serious C4 spanking to get a game to run...
So, Super 6 3, you're one of the lucky ones... Just be happy and enjoy the mod! (I do now, since MY problems have been resolved. :) )
A quick Suggestion:
Add in a version of the Remington that uses the ghost ring sights. Would need a new animation.
Swap the ammo for slugs and limit the effective range to medium. (Not sure how much in yards) I suggested something similar in the other thread (Before name change) but never got a reply.

Let's keep that suggestion for when the MDK is released. I'll forward it to the rest of the team though. (they're probably sneaking around here anyways! )
I have a quick question regarding the minimod - the pilot and Antitank default spawn classes, how or where is the code located to make the MP5 show up instead of the Shotgun in the spawn menu.
I understand if u don't want to tell me, coders rights well keep up the goodwork. from what I have seen, heard and looked at - this little minimod has lots of potential

The Code is in the actual weapon tweak file... But beware b/c we have found issues when trying to change the pilot class one... DICE has given this engine the bare minimums to make it do what it wants like usual.
took this from my Planetbattlefield post and registered because the thread there doesnt get replies.
"awesome mod just played some on an empty lan server and i found a few things that might need fixing (dont take this as *****ing just some help)
-on the m24 when you shoot its supposed to zoom out but since you have 3 levels of zoom, it just goes to the next zoom level up (or on highest it goes back to un-scoped) ideally it would go to un-scoped regardless of what zoom level you are on.
-the lazer designator has a buggy scope
-the m1a1 roof gunner is missing a crosshair (t90 has it)
-usmc has the m4 for anti-armor but MEC has the smg instead of ak74
-MEC anti-armor has 6 rounds but usmc has 1 (not sure if this is to balance the difference in guns but it says on your changelog that you gave all AT classes 1 rocket)
(suggestion)-the grenadier nade launcher still has horrible drop...possibly give it better range (to go with the sight)
thats all keep up the great work this is the best realism/change mod so far and if those problems are fixed its near perfect.

I see what you mean for the ghost ring sights.
However the slugs and distance are fairly simple to do with notepad.
(Enable range finder for distance calculation)
I converted the Protecta to slugs in my mini mod (nothing like this, just for screwing around with ideas) and its a lot of fun.
This "realism" mod, if you want to call it that, is a joke. Tanks don't move that slow, ever. They move slow enough in BF2. Abrams M1A2 has a top speed of 41 mph, and a rough terrain speed of approximately 30 mph. The damage system to helicopters is ridiculous. 24 rounds from an M16A2 destroys it, while a shot from a stinger doesn't? The USMC LAV has the worst spread I've ever seen, and your "realism" gravity makes it twice as bad. You'd be lucky to hit anything with that.
Methinks you fellas need to look at a few more "real world" specs before you call this a realism mod.
M1A2 Cross Country Speed is 40kph
T-90S is 45kph
ZTZ-98 is 35kph
LAV-25 is 50kph
WZ-551 is 40kph
BTR-90 is 40kph
Thats all crosscountry average speed, dont rely on the ingame speedometer like the ones on the planes and helicopters.. if you do, then a normal soldier sprinting is like 70kph.. and a default tank full movement speed is 100kph which is totally ********. Use the rangefinder, and then calculate using that..
Thank god for this!! You guys have done excellent! Screw those idiots that have posted here in efforts to undermine your work - I'd like to see them do better
Played it single and its great - how the game should have been!! About that gravity stuff, there is realism and then ridiculousness. I think it is fine how it is! Next you'll be wanting a free m16 when you download this.
Can't wait for a server to come with this on - i can imagine this mod being bigger than the original game - its everything EA wished it had created.
Keep up the great work guys - this might even have me give up Americas Army!!
Does anybody have any suggestions why when I create a local game some people can join my game and some just crash to desktop the moment they press "join now" button.
