I you remember the days just before the official NS announcement, then you also know that "undesired" information will be removed instantly from this forum.

I don't remember them removing any undesired information except the beta NDA stuff and the accidental leak of the NS website.

In fact I cant think of any non-official source that wouldn't be subject to removal as leaked or NDA-breach?

yeh few days before before NS anouncement i had a thread talking about the titan landing pads in port brav. little to my knowledge back then i hit the nail right on the tee. saying i reckon they are titan docks. then someone else confirmed this with the test site on gamespy......10 mins later the thread had been deleted.

NOOOOOOOOO infantry maps! ever since bf2142 have we forgot our roots people? we need more maps like tampa...... or a large map like tampa with 2 small cities each side so u get a bit of both. plus all you ever see is camp gib servers.

The reason that you see many Camp Gibraltar map is that it is popular.
New maps are unlikely to reduce the number of city-maps-only servers, so if you want to break the Gibraltar monotony you must provide alternate maps that fits their tastes.
Besides the vehicles fans has already got NS and soon Tampa.
I think the infantry is due for some fun now.

I did a search and didn't find anything directly related to battlefield 2142, just the franchise in general. This is Colin Clarke, the former community liaison, correct?

I cant give any specifics on whats to come but there is definitely a future for Battlefield.

Context is everything. This post was made in reply to a request for more detailed information about Highway Tampa and 1.4, and his reply was that the details of the map would not be commented on for now.

This has absolutely nothing to do with a larger booster.

how can you say NS is for vehicle whores when there are no gunships on any of the conquest maps? They are all small(ish) maps, not vehicle whore maps. The only reason there are so many walkers is to counter the goliath, but they are not large maps in any way, shape or form. You guys already have your infantry maps, give us some more large battle maps PLZ. But I agree with the person above that they should have some urban element to them to make them more interesting to the ground pounders.
