Still looks fishy to me, for example, why is it only Fudzilla (who???) have this information when there are other huge sites such as gamespy and IGN who have heard nothing of this.

I say free DLC to keep the player base stronger. I have the NS pack, and still play it whenever I can find a server that has more than a few people in it, or I find one on my side of the planet with less than 300 ping.

Real infantry maps that is, not vehicles-killing-infantry maps like NS.

Yep.

What's the most popular map? Camp Gibraltar, which is a pure infantry map (except for the walkers though). NS and Highway Tampa is the complete opposite. If there's a new boosterpack with more infantry heavy maps I would definately buy it.

I'm surprised that one of the DICE team hasn't posted on this thread denying this. They have already clearly said that there was no plans for any further booster pack due to the division of the community they create.

Having said that plans do change which may explain their absence on this thread.

Actually their exact words were "There are no plans at this time" and that was way back when NS was released. We're now > 3 months down the line.

Actually they were quoted as saying there were no plans for a booster AT THIS TIME. They never denied that they might not put one out. There just wasn't one on the drawing board at the time.

If EA feels that there is money to be made, then they will do it regardless of how the community might feel.
DICE has been assimilated, ethics are no longer a concern.

Personally I would like to see a new 10$ booster with infantry maps.

Ok, I am almost positive that one of the little news bits on the EA Battlefield website said something along the lines of a new conflict in the Arabian Peninsula, and I thought that was a reference to a new booster pack. I never really read the detail on it, just saw the headline. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Maybe it was just a reference to that new map?
