i was actually talking more about tanks. people can just park far away and spam away tank sniping because tanks have unlimited shells. i guess you haven't seen those tank guys that completely dominate the battlefiend because they have some dedicated repairmen and unlimited munitions. i've seen a lot of these guys who go like 50-0 with tanks in bc2.

for aircrafts, definitely they need limited ammunitions. they're already powerful anyways.

I played a bf2 mod that had 2 seats on the back of the tank and the only thing that made the tank OP was the second shell they added to it which had a huge radius and was meant for infantry. I'd drive around with two wrenchers who never even had to get off the tank. If you've got people who want to dedicate themselves to wrenching and following a tank around so what. Taking a tank out isn't very difficult and dedicating people to wrenching one is a waste of man power that could do more somewhere else.

Tanks are at the bottom of the food chain in battlefield 2 and I doubt that will change in battlefield 3.

I've never met another tanker who could snipe as well as I can with a tank in BF2. If you ever seen people talking about pixel tow shots and tank shots, many of the best spots were found by me. Anyone taking the time to figure stuff out like this isn't going to run out of ammo. I could really careless if they use the amount of ammo they used in bf2 or did infinite.

The tank models came from AIX I believe but they were borrowed with permission.

I'll take a plain bf2 challenger over any tank equipped with two wrenchers and infinite ammo.

I love armor it's what I do. I've had 6 tanks chasing me around el alemien or w/e and taken them all out while on the run and a few of them had wrenchers sitting on them.

Yeah probably so. It was an interesting place to play at for a while.

Unless you are talking bf2 pro, that's different. That's just BF2 with some minor adjustments.

I love tanking too haha. One of the reasons I enjoyed Highway Tampa a good bit.

BC2 is just silly... I can keep one of those things alive equipped with smoke for a whole game.

i'm talking about BC2 and its tanks w/ unlimited ammo, not BF2.
BF2 tanks felt like they were made of paper. they are much more formidable in BC2.

Infinite sprint is a must if we are getting large maps like we had in BF2. Getting around is a pain in BF2 when your team takes all the vehicles without passengers (BC2 has the same problem on large maps). The only thing that helps that situation is infinite sprint.

Also, vehicles including aircraft should still have infinite ammo, but it should be handled the way BF1943 does it with infantry. There should be an ammo counter like usual, but there should be a set amount of ammo before a reload wait and you should have to burn through all the ammo before you get more with a longer wait than reloading.

I prefer actually playing the game to sitting around waiting for a vehicle to spawn and I prefer infinite ammo on vehicles to waiting for an idiot commander to drop supplies not on a snipers head but near their team mates.

I have mixed feelings about the ammo thing. I think infinite ammo, especially in aircraft, just doesnt work. Not because you can spam as such, but because you dont have to really think about your shots.

In BF2 once you had your jet you had to think about a place to drop your bombs that would yield the best amount of kills because reloading them wasnt easy. Same with the rockets, you had to think about firing them because you only had a limited amount. Giving a vehicle unlimited ammo just gives the player a sense of worthlessness to whatever armory of weapons they are carrying.

By first hand experience. I didn't know about that trick until you did it. Now I always have smoke equipped. :p

He means going smoke perk while being a engie(usually with a teammate who will rev you and get faster ammo perk.But you need to stay in the distance.

I destoyed one like that but it took about 10 rounds of motar and almost the whole round to kill them

No infinite ammo please. Explosives, bombs and sniper rounds needs to be "expensive" to keep down the spam.
Besides, resupply adds another dimension to the teamwork.

agreed but unlimited run is ok IMO,maybe if it makes ur sights go up and down fast like quick breathing after might be a idea?
