I think thats pretty high. Ive seen a few 25s, but nothing higher.

look for me, i get boat load of kill assists but not many kills. you'll be able to finish off a lot of my kills if you follow me around. i'm just a terrible finisher.

If you follow me around, be a medic. You'll be able to mop up the people I face because I can usually do about 75% damage to them so they'll be easy pickings, and you'll be able to farm me for revives. Minmaster and I will have your KDR up above 2 in no time, Crunch! :thumbsup:

I played with treble318 yesterday, who is rank 33 right now. Dude averages 8.4h played per day. He had an insane amount of time on BF2142 as well. Guy just loves his Battlefield, I guess, but at least he's a cool guy and a good squadmate.

Raised mine a little. It's surprising since for a few rounds of Rush I didn't kill anyone at all. I just ran around with my paddles out reviving people. I got killed quite a few times, and the sacs refused to grab my kit and revive me!

They were missing out, I had the M60 selected even if I wasn't actually using it.

The main issue with low kds is new players always get killed by veteran players with powerful unlocks.

Then your kd will never rise!

i remember 2142 had rank-restricted servers when the game launched. it shortly disappeared though.

That was my first round, and I'm on the Steam version. People had already been playing for hours and had ranked up and gotten a few unlocks by that time. Of course, it was a Hardcore Conquest server so it was basically easy mode.

The point is, the unlocks weren't a big deal. Stock guns are pretty good, really.

The main unlocks that matter are the base kit abilities. I'm still confused about why they decided to let some people start with them and not others. The LMG is not what makes a medic. The defibs and health packs are.

Yeah, I felt like such a git running around as a medic without even a medkit, nevermind the paddles. Luckily it doesn't take many points to unlock them which begs the question: why have them be unlockable in the first place? Now had that POS promo code worked I wouldn't have had to fuss with it all.

Wow, at first I didn't even realize that some people didn't start with base abilities. We should all have the "Limited" edition, right? So I was being kind of an *** to a guy when he wouldn't drop ammo packs. When I ran out of ammo, I couldn't take it anymore. I stabbed him in the neck and picked up his kit. NO AMMO!?! So I revived him and apologized...

Yeah, I don't think there's a regular edition yet, is there? I bought the limited edition at Target brand new but my promo code never worked. Kept saying it was already in use or was incorrect or something. I might have entered it when EA's servers were screwing up on the first day or it could have been ******ed and stolen but I've gotten everything unlocked manually now so no biggie. I didn't start playing medic until a couple of days ago so here's this rank 12-ish soldier running around not rezzing or dropping medpacks and playing like a n00b (which I do anyway to a degree ).

Im currently sitting at rank 18 with a KD ratio of 1.55 now.

I have found that because i only level some guns till the silver star then move on im not collecting as many points as i could be, really want my M14 though.
