I just found out the KDR is bugged as well. I just played a huge game of conquest and was the #2 guy on the server with most kills. When the round ended, it only showed 7 kills, all with the knife. None of my weapon kills were counted at all.

So, dont worry about your KDR, its probably wrong anyway and wont be correct until they fix some more stuff.

I am sure that stat is flawed too. Its not like I regularly end up knifing people because the buckshot pass unhindered through their empty skull.

i noticed this too with shotguns today too; it must count each pellet as a bullet; one rounds I fired almost 12 thousand of the things.

the kills and deaths part at the top is correct, but the weapon one is totally borked, I think it might count it by map or something rather than by each round etc

I usually play with friends that are at the same playing field as me. We're top 3 in all servers we play on. It definitely helps your KD Ratio when you play with experienced people. All of us hover ~2.0-2.3 KD.

When I play alone, my KD would probably drop to like 1.99-2.02 or something like that.

Nonsense, it works perfectly. Just look at this

Try the Remington with slugs and magnum ammo. Sexy. You don't have to worry in CQC whether enough of the pellets hit like the buckshot rounds; if the slug hits, your target dies, plain and simple. Plus it gives you decent range. Not AR range or anything, but you can get OHKs at 15m no problem (you may have to aim down the sites to ensure you get the hit, but when you do, your target drops like a sack of potatoes). What's great is I can use that loadout for every kit so I never have to stop the whorage.

It's time on the server. As long as you keep playing on that server it'll tally up your total kills with that weapon each game. Once you disconnect, it refreshes and sets you back to zero.

With revives counting as deaths, you can pretty much take your BF2 K/D and subtract 1.

Currently, my K/D is hovering at around 0.5.

I am not the most terrible player, but the amount of dust and smoke and muzzle flash makes it terribly difficult to spot enemies. Sometimes, I get lucky and kill people from behind, but most of the time, me and my teammates get ambushed or naded to bits without even knowing where it all came from.

Oh well, we will all get better eventually.

i think it counts the total weapon kills as long as you are on the server. Although one round i got 2 light machine guns pins (7 kills per pin) and my total kills in the round was 9? As for KDR i am above 1 and rising ever slowly. If i camped more i could get a better KDR, but wheres the fun in that :)

yes that sucks, you get killed then revived and it counts as a kill

I didn't know I would suck this bad after playing the BETA.
At the moment I still put it down to "I don't know **** about the maps its ambushes etc...".
But I do hope I will get better eventually. This, or Chinese players are just better than Europeans.
