Don't get me wrong, if a good game came along (COUGH BF3), i would be back. It's just releases such as the new Pro Evo 8 and FFOW show that either not a lot of thought or care have gone into the games, and, yet I still waste my money on them. Yet, i'll play PS3 and Xbox and things just work.

You put a disc in the drive, the game loads, you play. No faffing about. Plus, most games are made on console and then ported. Admittedly, console will never replace FPS gaming, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of creativity going in that market anyway for PC.

Consoles have come a long way in the last two generations they were way behind on the PC in the late 90s but i wont abondon PC gaming until

1. i can hook my keyboard and mouse up to a console and actually use them on games

2. Online is as good as on the PC (number of players, modding, and general third party support)

i mean the cost of hardware is borderline ridiculous just like lots of things like petrol and taxes are ATM

I agree about the mouse k/b thing, most of the games i own on are fps's which are unplayable on consoles imo.


Though nearly every other type of game (minus strategy) is better on consoles

I hate consoles and even i know that i wouldn't go near a 360!

Wii > PS3 (maybe if they get better games it might move it up, Gran Turismo does not appeal to me), 360

I played Mario Kart on Wii earlier, it's fracking awesome. Brings back some N64 memories!

lol you act like he is saying goodbye completely. I've played PC for about 2 years and have owned a PS2, 360, and now a PS3 and there has not been one time where I regretted buying them.

you made the right consol choice. everyone says 360 is better cuz it has more games. well its been out longer. so stfu. ps3 is PROVEN to have better gfx. it has blu ray=no extra blu ray player then. 360 fails. i will be buying a ps3 when gta4 comes out

but so i need a 60gb to play all my ps2 games? crap... more money out the window.

Whats the deal though, I went to gamestop today to look at the PS3, I ask them for a 60gb, but they said its discontinued or something?

50" TV with 1440p FTW!

i've played the 360 on a HD projector. it was ****ing amazing. i considered buying the 360, then came to the conclusion i probably wouldnt play it enough cause i'd want it on the big tv in the living room. i bought a 1 month old Wii cause it was offered to me and that gets used like once a week now and thats it.
i know its all about competition and some titles have always been running solely on one console, but its a pain in the *** that the 360 and PS3 have their own titles. i've had every GT going, and all GTA's but one, and so want the new ones, but i really dont think they'd get used all that much. oh and Metal Gear Solid too
or i disregard that, save for a month, and don't do any impulse buying i s'pose i could go over the top and buy the PS3 and the 360. whats the current prices on games?

just started Twilight Princess today, didnt have enough time to get a proper feel for it but i'm sure it won't disapoint. ima have to get mario kart me thinks, looks gooood.
