Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Dont want to insult anyone, but i believe most people on this thread are either inexperienced and / or wrong. With lack of experience their advice is limited.
I know this is off topic but...
ak101
Beats g36e up close, 1 shot to head, spray makes it easier.
Beats l8a1 up close, because better rape of fire and a steadier cross hair means more accurate spray
Beats m16 up close, 1 shot to head + spray.
At a distance, maybe not as good as m16 but better than g36e. Simply because 1 shot to head.
m16
Beats g36e long range, better accuracy. Perhaps worse at very long range 150m+ but what medic is meant to fight that distance.
Beats g36e up close, the slower rate of fire actually helps to aim for head shots whilst keeping the cross hair lower.
Slightly less accurate, helps when unscope against running target aim for head, the reason gun is so unaccurate at times is because it is too accurate. (again prefer to g36e)
The only advantage g36e has over the m16 is that when shooting a target with 100% accuracy it can win through superior rate of fire. This means a prone vs prone slugging match, only noobs do this.
Quite simply at higher level, both guns limit you to be less effective at getting in close at dirty with the opponant. Or it's advantage is extremely long range which is not for a medic, or against prone targets again this is for noobs who dont know how to fight.
Be warned though, what i have written suits people who play at a very high level. It is not relevant if your a noob. To understand how to play better search "waib bf2" on youtube it should show you how to play.
Hey now - I've watched Duck & Cover tons of times! I know how to play! All you do is get in a jet and bomb some dudes and it doesn't matter what gun you're using. And that is a fact.
OK, I had a little training lesson with the L85A1 - I'm still NOT good with it but there I some things I learned:
Use it in full auto but fire only one bullet at a time wait half a second and fire again one bullet. Works like charm. Funny is, that in single shot the deviation seems to be bigger than with the tactic mentioned.
It basically works like a mini-SVD with the possibility to go full auto in CQC. You have the one shot kill (headshot) and just need some hits more to get the target down.
The round after that training lesson I joined a typical Karkand inf server and ended being best combat with a k/d of 39:12 which is not bad considering that I joined while the round has already started long ago and I used the L85 for the first time (and keeping it and not picking up another kit).
I#m sure I will use the L85 from now on and get better with it ;-)
I lolled... Not as good as M16 but better than G36..? M16 doesnt kill you with one headshot, its less acurate than the G36 and does less damage
Its quite simple.
M16 more accurate than the g36e single shot, thus g36e is not as good as m16 here.
Ak101 proves nearly as good as the m16 at long range due to 1 shot to head, sometimes better depending if it is only the head showing. Obviously two bullets to head is harder than 1.
If these guns are so close, then a less superior gun than the m16 is obviously less superior to the Ak at long range. Ak is better than any other gun up close. I hope this makes it simple for you.
And my typo lol, i saw it but found it ammusing so i didnt change it.
The reason both unlock guns are so appealing is because they are better at slugging matches (prone vs prone). This is the most natural form of fighting (instantly prone), thats why all the noobs do it. They will only drastically improve with the non-unlock guns when they up their game to a decent level.
By decent level i mean... aiming for head all the time, up close or at a distance. Pop up and down using the objects around you for cover and develop some form of common sense. I dont want to sound patronising but the fact is about 1% of people play to this standard.
No its not. G36E's minimum deviation is less than M16's thus its more accurate...
Now don't go using those dang newfangled "numbers" and "logic" and "reasoning," in here. We don't like that kind a talkin'! Fancy cityboy talk, like youse in some "menda" forum or somethin'.
