First off: A weapon is only as good as the user, so don't give me any statistical bs...

Second: I'd use the M16 or either AK over the L85 or G36 any day. I need to anyway, since I've gotten into competitive play recently and I've been using them for a long time. "Statistically", sure, the latter are better. But seriously, practicing and experimenting with the M16 or the AKs and being able to perform well with them will make you better than any G36E/L85 user.

Also, saying that you're good with the G36E isn't much of a feat.

P.S. All of the above is my opinion, but the Internet is super serious and opinions are wrong no matter what. :yay:

OK, I'm still trying the L85A1. Everytime I play medic now I choose this gun and I get good results with it, but there is on very annoying thing with it.
It is known: the first shot registers but the rest is kind of pure luck.

IMHO there is no other gun in this game that is so random regarding the accuracy. Additionally the recoil makes the sight move in random directions, a thing that doesn't happen with the other BF2 guns afaik.
I agree that the L85 is great in single shot to take out snipers, but honestly, I still prefer any other medic gun. It's so frustrating to be in 1 vs 1 fight aiming right on the target but just getting smoke or hitting nothing. Wouldn't happen with the G36E, AK's, M16.

I will still keep on practicing because I believe I can do better with the L85 once I get the clue

^ yeh i noticed that too its a right pain and the main reason why i barely bother to use it. The only redeeming fact is that is the only fully auto weapon usmc medics get to use.

Since I love being a sniper, I love the L85A1 set to single shot mode.

I can hang out with a group of snipers and pick people off as good as they can and it gives the sniper group medic support with heals and revives. This way if I die another sniper grabs my kit revives me and we all go back to sniping since I love any of the sniper rifles as well as the L85A1.

I do not care for the G36E at all!!!!

                    ElFipso,

Yup, I was screwed by the scum suckin hackers, my stats got altered, and EA wiped my character clean with out any warning!! Even though EA could have taken the 1225 hours I had been playing into consideration and checked my 31day history on bf2s.com, to what stats might have been altered, it was just easier to reset my character.

I have made a post on how to get global, team, combat, and command scores back from EA (which is why I am a Major again), but it does screw the heck out of your stats! (1225 hours lost, all expert badges lost, 3/4 of the medals lost), and somehow I kept my ribbons....don't figure but I have managed to get 34 badges back since the reset.
