Gunslinger, maybe i am too old. No i can't solo. Actually i've never tried. I can manouver the heli pretty ok. Same way i can tv ok. Am i perfect with it? Hell no. Can i hit anything i try in SP ? Yes i can. Thats hardly i problem. With even the smallest help from a decent pilot i can win 3/4 engagements against other heli's and i can hit jets about half the time. But most of that is the skill of the pilot.I'm not asking the Sunday soccer player to give up his time on the field, i'm asking him to allow the new player on his team, to give him instructions and if he is in a good position, pass him the ball. Instead of doing what solo pilots do and force all the new players to the other team and then make loud noises of their 23 to zero victory over the newbies.

Sloi, alturism?Hell no. I'm simply asking you let people play the game how it was intended. Notice the TWO seats in your heli? I'm not asking to be ferried around, i'm asking to be given a go with the copter, and a self proclaimed solo whore isn't likely to gun for me while i fly, because the heli is his. How dare i have the audacity to touch his property? Bravo Sierra.

Ach i don't even know why i'm wasting my time with this crap. Heli's make up less than 5% of my game time, and overall affects me less than parachutes failing to open. You guys win. Solo pilots are god. We should be happy when they kill us, either by redlining or shooting us, whatever team we are on.

ALL HAIL THE SOLO PILOTS!! !

G0ggy, yeah. I'm beat. You keep fighting the good fight though. Guess this means you're solo. So you should beat them. According to their arguments anyway :)

When I introduced the SWAT4 clan I was in to BF2, I introduced a few guys to choppers. Did I take them for a spin in a server? Yes I did. I took them to an empty server so we wouldnt distract anyone. I did it to give them a spin so they would judge whether or not it was fun. For one champ, it was. Guess what I did next? I took ArmyDrs 4 videos, I took all the Helo guides from TBF2 site, major posts and a few frag videos, and let him do his homework in in theory. I then showed him how to do SP games, how to set up LAN servers, how to park a chopper on the edge of the building and shoot TVs off. I let HIM do all the work, all the studying

Draw your own conclusions. I dont need to spend my 20 minutes of playtime to teach people and not play the game myself. And thats what youre asking me to do. Anyone who wants to devote himself to an area, need to do his own work. Anyone who wants to have 15 seconds of fun in the chopper should piss off as its not a taxi service and I wont spend 20 minutes to teach him just so he could disconnect by the end of the round and go play Karkand IO instead.

You can always resort to LOLcats, would change the level of your input in this thread by one bit.

Sounds like you know me so well, would you like to go on a date?
