Re: Why do you play BF2 instead of 2142?
Well lets see,
Poor story line/setting
Hardly any if any change in the dynamics of the game
the maps are ugly as ****
whats new?
Its made for noobs, and played by noobs
Ranks here ranks there
its 2142 the APCs dont even float
Titan lag
walkers are not cool at all are just stupid + buggy
Its to easy, bf2 takes more well skill is not the right word
No jets
The camo sucks
Its still all about ranks and not about team work
IMO its just a much worse version of bf2.Comment

Re: Why do you play BF2 instead of 2142?
I will never pay full price for a MODE. 2142 was futuristic mode of BF2. Nothing more nothing less. it takes few years to make good game and that was the case in BF2. 2142 was made in less then a year and that is how long it takes for good modding team to release good mode. Check PR or POE2. I did try demo and i did play on my firend's computer many times and it was no fun from beggining.
Retarded walker, skating tanks or stupid air vehicles. Just bad idea. All those extra gadgets like beacon spawn, shield or locking mines. None of this is fun or original.
Someone mention that all noobs moved into 2142. I would not go that far but honestly after release of 2142 it felt like playing level in BF2 went up a notch so there is defintly some truth to it.Comment

Re: Why do you play BF2 instead of 2142?
I actually found BF2142 background storyline to be really good and plausible. With some creative work they could have nailed the setting and created despair, perhaps even horror as the threat is something people can relate themselves to. Well, those lucky crooks who live in Texas and havent seen snow in their life of course couldnt.
Then you load up BF2142 and every item, weapon, skin, map you see is so ****ing bland and stupid. Sh!tload of wasted potential.Comment
