Most days I wish they would take out seat switching for every vehicle to make the game a little less arcadish (tanks, jeeps, helos, ect). Soloing in a chopper is not a cheat or an exploit. It's the result of having an arcadish game.

I have learned to become a competent pilot, gunner, and soloer. I tend to pilot more than gun now, though it used to be the oposite when I first started. I will "solo" if no one else will gun. If I have a crappy gunner and we die, I go do something else (I really don't fly choppers that much).

I just hate anyone who has this "ownership" attitude for any veheicles. If you think you are "all that", then join a competitive clan and I am sure they will let you use that vehicle all the time. But if you TK, redline, etc because you think you are "God's gift to BF2", then you really should become a more balanced player and learn to enjoy other aspects of the game.

just played a bit and I kept getting owned by noobs coz my pilot\gunner sucked

from now on, Im either soloing or getting in with a person I know or not going at all, redlining FTW

learn how to fly then come play, reset my stats or ban my key I dont care, Ill buy a new game and keep doing it

ahh, heres a true story and this happens ALOT...
i join a game and go as infantry and find myself getting raped by a tank or something and the idiots in our planes and choppers are too busy spawn raping or crashing into things and never help me out.
i end up being a sniper and sitting back or i go in a plane or chopper and attack everything and own every bit of hardware i can find.

so if the other players werent so crap.. i could have a good game on the ground.

when there are good players in our hardware and i am on the ground i have a much better time. so its not about owning a vehicle or thinking were gods gift, its that we want the hardware used effectively and if you have to get rid of little jimmy who couldnt even tv something as big as a ship then so be it :)

get a fast pc then u can spawn and take off before all the nubs have loaded, in the first round i get whatever i want lol

To Blud: if you honestly think that soloing is cheating, than you sir need a better definition. It is in the game, and they left it in there, even though they could easily have taken it out. I use my flares when I get locked onto, and I have had missiles hit me right after switching seats, so do not even try that angle. You are just whining, seriously, you must get owned all the time.

So there are alot of responsives implying having a bad gunner = Death, how ishaving a bad gunner any different from flying solo if not better on account you have extra firepower (given the gunner sucks).

I'm not sure how you're automatically going to die with a bad gunner, if you're so L337 flying solo, how can it possibly make a difference?

The real question is, why do you guys spend so much time arguing about something that will not be fixed? ^.^

For what it's worth, I wouldn't stop soloing because some wannabe internet cop declared soloing an exploit. DICE would have to forcibly eliminate the option, otherwise people would continue doing it anyway...

because the copilot has control of the tv missile, if someone good cant use it then the guys in the enemy chopper will likely get you while your copilot is missing tv shots or aimlessly shooting the chaingun :laugh:

What I do, and what you should do. Is Press F1 when you're in the process of being Red-Lined, Take a SS. Then take an SS right after you die, so it shows the cam behind the chopper.

Then send these to http://www.bfroe.com
