People who do the OOB trick on me get teamkilled and I will usually push it as far as, either they leave the server, or I get kicked/banned for teamkilling, that depends on the server Im in of course.

Having said that, some pilots prefer to do well on their own, than to do bad with a gunner who knows jacksh!t about gunning. And dice say that vast majority of people who want to gun are just that- no good.

Single Helo Pilots = Selfish, Inconsiderate, Immature, Self Proclaimed "I'm better than you so FO"!! Players--nothing more nothing less. They really should get another game to play, because they ruin it for most of the rest of us.

It's too bad EA/Dice even allowed the helos to take off at all with an empty gunner seat. They should patch it.

Amateur gunners who cant even consider the option to practice a few times in SP to get at least some knowledge about what the games most crucial weapon does- selfish, stupid, inconsiderate.

Two sides to the coin. If you know you suck, and you are hindering your team by claiming the seat of the control to the most crucial weaponry for your team, you are a tardnugget.

Everyone was a rookie at first, but some of us actually went ahead and practiced in SP before coming out and ruining the gaming experience for the whole team.

Some people just don't like getting killed by their own gunner. And what I've personally noticed, those people who aren't that good whine about flying solo and those who are good understand pilots motives perfectly. And they may even ask whether you want gunner or not, and if you don't they'll hop out right away.

My take on this: If a chopper pilot can solo effectively, let them. grab a boat or whatever and help your team cap flags. Ask for air support and help the solo'er by spotting targets. I'm happy if I have good air support.

Now if the pilot can't solo effectively and won't let a gunner fly with him, then that's a bad combo, but that's not answering your question.

Another SP pilot trying to justify ruining the game for everyone, by telling us how elite he is and it's really my fault because I am not as good as you.
So SP pilots have to control the game themselves and exclude others from what is supposed to be a team vehicle. Your excuse doesn't cut it because good gunners are being excluded and purposely killed in the out of bounds areas without even being allowed to try. SP pilots don't want ANYONE, EVER in the front seat for one reason only-- so that they can exploit the game and use thier undetectable macros to seat hop and shoot -points!!! And don't, for a second tell me that they are a team players because they personally take it upon themselves to ensure that no one ever gets to sit in the gunner's seat because they are so elite. ALL SP chopper pilots just want to hog the chopper and rack up the points, they don't give a rats behind about teamplay.

Really-time for a new game SP chopper pilots to move on to because they have mastered this one to the point of ruining it for others.

yeah but most people dont even give you a chance to prove your good. For instance, I was using my other account which is at Sgt. I guess the Cpt who was pilot thought I was a noob and couldn't gun and kept tellin me to get out and then proceeded taking me OOB.

I didnt even get a chance to gun and show him I could do it. Really though, saying for you to practice gunning in SP is not right, have you ever flown with a bot pilot? lol its pathetic.

I am usually the pilot of the chopper, but I ALWAYS give people a chance, and if they suck, I let them practice, its the only way to get better. It helps if your SL and invite them to your squad so you can talk on VOIP

I think I agree with some that solo'ers are just selfish and immature and think they are better than everyone else. I can say for a fact an attack helo is far more deadly with a pair, even if one isnt all that great (though it does help when the gunner knows what a TV missile is lol) I had to tell my gunner once how to use it

if a pilot really wants to solo I let him. I don't get out imidiatly but if he takes me oob I say fly back to base and I'll hop out, never had anybody who didn't do that and I've also been flying with good chopper pilots of a high rank. If your pilot doesn't want to work with you it's no fun anyway. Best way to practice isn't SP I think it's teaming up with a friend joining a half empty server and practicing using teamspeak.

I keep spotting the enemy chopper till I get blocked but my gunner still wont fire, I have people using the MG on armor, I have pilots ignoring ****, I have pilots who cant fly

what do you want me to do?

wait on the pad for someone to get in so they could piss me of

i dont care how good u might be in a chopper, u suck, as a person, as a player, as a teamate, and just in the game, you suck if u redline ppl

im a chopper whore, i always like to pilot....but i ALWAYS give the gunner a chance.....even if he prooves to me over and over he sucks, i feel i can help them out.......its always my goal to get my gunner the gold at the end of the round....ive had to show a few ppl how to use the TVM but its all fun.....and they did improve in that one round alone....

i was playing on a server the other day, and i was being yelled at (with profanity) because i was in the chopper alone, and i had been seat switching.....i told them politely that my gunner had bailed out (which he had) and i was squad leader, so anyone could spawn on me......they were telling me to get another gunner, and were acting generally pissed off......so i stopped seat switching, i used only those hydra missle thingies....and no one complained....

i think thats another thing....seat switching is a topic that seems to get on everyones nerves (Xept those who do it alot) they didnt mind me flying by myself as long as i didnt switch seats.....

the only time i will fly by myself, is if no one wants to fly, or gun, i usually sit for a few spamming 'get in' and 'mount up' and try to fly up to some random ppl not in vehicles.......i then become squad leader so ppl can spawn on me if they like....then i take off.....and i dont switch seats....i think its more of a challenge to take targets out with those default pilot missles......fun

Im not selfish, I just dont have nerves to deal with retarded gunners

alot of times people would complain about me taking the chopper

so I would go back and park it on the pad so they would get in and take their turn, yea feels good to be a person like that I know lol but I practiced in single player so it shouldnt be a problem for everyone else to do the same

I dont take the jet over other good players, ask mettalica, I played with him alot of times and I would take the jet and wait for him so he could get in coz I know hes good

and I said "ur getting redlined if you end up being bad"

which means if you turn out to be a good gunner Ill ask you to gun for me again
