I said that the message was that I have an older version than the server. And your right man, this patch (as big as it is) should have fixed a number of problems.
If the in-game message from EA doesn't show it, then it doesn't exist. If there really was a new bug fix for server crashes I don't think it would have to edit the client side at all.
Edit: As previously mentioned before, the filesize differs only 6MB from the 1.4 full patch, so that would not mean there's a ton of new content. Plus, the name of the patch itself means it's only a small revision and not a feature-rich update. (Wiki)
Okay genuises, the patch is 536mb because it is all the preceeding patches in one plus the new 6mb of data that comprise the newest addition of patching. So, in actuallity, 1.41 is 6mb, not 536. Comprende?
