No one wants server crashes either.

I havent had a server crash since 1.4 was released....

This is a useless download. If it was 6 megs I would do it.

Exactly, I've yet to experience a server crash since 1.3/1.4 so I'll hold off on that download until they make it 6MB. No f*cking way am I getting a 536MB file for something that affects me 0.0001% of the time.

But no one wants to waste a ****ing 2 hours for one ****ing bug fix and 6 MB of content...Thats what we are pissed off about...

I could care less about your pathetic connection taking 2 hours to DL it. That's not what I was referring to. Numerous repliers have pissed and moaned about 1.41 being so huge and fixing so little, meaning they perceive all of that 536mbs of data to be 1.41.

i have dloaded the file & i tried it out on our clan server and i stuttered like fek, far worst than i did on the previous 1.4 patch. The only good side of things was my ping stayed in the lows of 30ms.

And yes i agree the file size of the patch for something like this is riddiculous.

Server crashes still happen, just not as bad as 1.3 was. I'm glad as a server owner they have addressed the server crashing. I just hope they fixed it properly this time. We always thought there were some clients crashing the server.

I would say that them only releasing the full patch rather than the incremental is a good thing. How many people have had probs with incremental patches causing problems before, heaps!

Our server hasn't been updated to 1.41 yet and I doubt many ranked servers have but most should be done in the next few days.

Either:
1) the problem is caused by something happening client-side or
2) EA is ending support for BF2 so this is the only patch everyone downloads from now on

Yeah that is kinda obvious don't you think? All full patches contains all the data from predecessors, but when there is no incremental patch available then you really do have to download that 536MB patch that is extremelly large. If you think carefully you may come to a conlusion that 1.41 actually is 536MB not 6MB and it really fix only one thing.
