What's the point of downloading over 300 megs for a single fix which doesn't affect our clients? F*ck that.

Another one who doesn't bother to read the whole thread.

There was only one fix, and that was a server crash bug.

Normally I read the whole threads. But I wanted to d/l as soon as possible. Just read the Change Log posted.

For the moment I'm not going to download this 550 MB and only 1 fix. Nope...

I get a "Cannot find install folder" when trying to install the patch. I have a few mods, but didn't think this would affect this patch.

I would like to see, even this one time, EA/Dice doing more than promised. Usually it has been less, but even this one time...

I mean nobody cares about those crashes, the whole history of this game has been constant crashing of things. Servers, clients, PC's, nerves and so.

Gaming community has been asking in my opinion one thing that is more than significant; Balancing of the jets. I just can't understand why in the h e l l they did this patch like this. Why not using the effort doing someting that is needed, not doing some minor tweaking of negligible issue.

Well, on the other hand I must thank EA for doing even this. I was 100% certain that no patches will ever be released after 1.4

Just wish that they could focus their doings better...

Patch 1.40 was 530 MB. This is 536 MB. So, the 1 fix listed is 6 MB? Just a waste of a download....

probably this patch will CTD BF2 when you click the icon to start the game.. is a marketing manouver from EA to force you play 2142 by boring you to death...
