Yeah, I had that happen to me a few times in a row when I was flying with a friend of mine last week... it was horrible. The damn missiles would even go through blackhawks and we both saw the fukn things "hit". I think it's highly dependent on the server you play in...

man ur a good pilot and a gunner. excellent at that. when ive gota pilot like u i dun usually miss but u do both.. lol ive tried soloing maybe 5 times now and i dunno but i use kboard/mouse and to switch i press F2 then right click then fire, while in the chopper this seems too slow of a process and the chopper starts spinning clockwise redicalously and i cant get a clearn aim. but when i watch ur vid (which i loved btw) when u switch u switch straight to the tv screen and it doesnt start spinning like my choppers do.. someone told me u have to sort of spin the chopper the other direction (anti-clockwise?) to counterpart the natural spin. i tried but still unsuccessfull to get it spot on like u.any help on this i would appreciate either reply to post or pm.

It's all about the speed in which you can switch and fire...
As you see in Sloi's video's, once you get fast enough you don't need to aim left anymore...

But you will need to try at least 100 times more before you get there...

Yeah, people don't like me.

Often enough, I get admins telling me "no soloing" (regardless of TV use) even when no one else is waiting for helis: I confront them about it, at which point they propose I either leave the server (with kick threats) or get out of the heli. What the hell? Who the f*ck are they to tell me I can't use a vehicle when one of the seats isn't occupied because no one is interested in it at that particular time? I STAND UP TO THEM ON PRINCIPLE AND GET KICKED FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING.

I then mention tanks, apcs and jeeps... but "that's different". Yeah, my *ss it's different.

It's said how people are like that. That was a great video!! I'm pretty new to BF2, and I learned some good techniques from that! Thanks!! Too bad I can't play online though. I have satellite internet.

EDIT: How the heck do you shoot TV missles from the pilot position???? And man, you're an amazing pilot!! I tried doing those barrel rolls, and I crash every time!!

Do you really think that? I think it isn't that, but I have to admit that some days, my guideds go through everything, even trough armor :hmm: . And other days I have guideds wich are hitting everything, kinda weird.

And I'm afraid that 1.41 isn't going to fix it. The bug is there for months, and none of the patches had done anything about it. They fix small, useless bugs, and the great 'hitboxes' bugs, they leave it for what it is. Unbelievable :|: .

I think I lost hundreds of kills due the TV bugs. Double reloads how my friends and I call it, always on the worst possible moments, like an mobile AA is getting you.

Btw, Sloi, I've added you on xfire, maybe we can fly sometime!

Btw2, Sloi, why don't you bind your 'F2 key' (2nd position in chop.) not on 'C' or something? It makes a very big difference, because it's closer to your fingers. You should try it.

I guess Im cool with my TVs going through attack choppers but reload and fire bugs need to be fixed, also TVs going through transport choppers should be fixed

I think TV's going through attack chop's is lots more irritating than TV's through transport choppers. Attack choppers are able to kill you, transport choppers not!

I know but take chinese transport chopper for example, its huge and theres no way I can miss it but if my missile goes through it Im mad coz I know I was supposed to hit it but cobra and Z10 are small so.......see what I meen??

Yeah, I get the point. I have to admit that it's very irritating if you can't kill the transport chopper, wich is huge, and the smallest, Cobra, who's making barrel rolls and stuff like that, you can kill him.

Yeah, we laugh at each other a lot when one of us misses a transport chopper.

They say soloers aren't team players but people's opinion would change after hanging out with us in Ventrilo and Teamspeak: we're all highly competitive but friendly people when playing together in 1v1s, 2v2s or something like that in pubs. We definitely do our share for the team... just in a different way. And contrary to popular belief, we're not TKing machines or assholes... for the most part.

Your logic has allways escaped me. The Cobra is the most saught after(by noobs especially) asset in the game? Do you ever use the comm's, ie "get in", probably not, because you've stated before that you don't pickup people you don't know. So in fact, regardless if anyone wants to get in the chopper, unless you know them you don't pick them up. But yet you call yourself a Team Player because you are efficent as a solo pilot... :hmm:. What is your ingame nic, because Sloi didn't work at game-monitor?
