Without actually playing, I'd say your best bet would be flares and an immediate withdrawal from the area until you can eliminate some of the possibilities. Off the top of my head (I haven't played this map in a long time), there's one at the MEC helipad, TV station, Hotel and middle area: that should be enough information to get you started

LOL, dude I'm not about that. Besides, you could be using another account of which I don't know. All I'm interested in(if anything) is verifing your story that the chopper is empty, and waiting for you whenever you so choose. Maybe my gunner and I could give you some competition that your last video lacked, or why not go up against some of the better known chopper pros out there, that would give your avatar more credibility.

I have nothing to prove.

Ask Zman, PJ, Blackjack or any other high-caliber helicopter player if I'm good for it. I am on the current #1 TWL 2v2 heli team (SOE) and was also in the previous one as well (Team DoubleDown, before we left the ladder) so I can back it up.

The only reason I avoid places like FHM, Moo or Insomnia for my videos is the lack of empty helis: everyone wants to fly, which makes getting one alone very difficult. I love playing there... when people aren't redlining and TKing each other for vehicles.

These videos are educational tools, not ways of putting myself on a pedestal. :)

Beeing good is one thing...
Getting footage for an educational film in your free time, by means of a fps eating program like fraps, is another... And finding a most likely solo server is hell at the best of times...
I won't even attempt it... Too glad to get a solo chopper when I do to care...


BTW:
I recently found the FHM server and rather liked it...
The degree of loosers was the same as anywhere, but after a clanmate of mine managed to get into the chopper with me, we did well...
We got the chopper for about four rounds straight...

We encountered some guy named MJgunner or something like that, who claimed to be 3rd in some 2 vs 2 choper ladder, after I complemented him on his evasive tactics...
I had never missed so much in months, but we got the upper hand eventually...

It was fun... :)

FHM is better them most chopper servers, at least they have admins but about picking people up.....you have to earn that seat on servers like DMOC or FHM, if people know you and know ur skills theyll come down and pick you up, if ur new ull probably be asked to get out or ull get redlined coz most people who play there know each other, thats the way it works, I got used to it, Ill pick up sloi any time, Ill even give him the chopper and let him go solo coz I know hes good at soloing

I do this with tiki if Im not in a good mood or if I make alot of mistakes

Haven't had a chance to work on it in recent days. It's been so long that I had to check bad in this thread to find out which map I wanted to do it on... how bad is that? :P

I'll see if I can find a suitable Daqing server tonight. :)

Is your next video going to be instructional as well?

I think that 3 so far covered pretty much everything, unless you want to go into some really advanced tactics.

By the way i learned some nice things watching the videos, especially spacial awareness and changing my camera views a lot. Now the moment i spot things, tv booom :)

I had a first the other day, where I was dueling under condition of no-tvmissile against someone...

When I was just one missile short of getting the kill, I switched and finished him off with MG...

It's most likely going to be instructional like the first three. I'll try to find a few machinegunning opportunities. As well, half the video will be me using TVs, the other, only engaging with dumb missiles. This will probably be my last instructional video... next ones are pilot+gunner. "We're hiring. "

ok i think im tired of this thread, lol no not really, lately in chopper videos there is only one lack, and that would be the competition on the other team
Ive NEVER seen a video that had 1v1 or 2v2 type thing, its all the same ********, it gets boring, you know what thats it, im gonna make a video of my own
